Why am I constantly being disconnected?!

Ok, this is really getting annoying because I can go weeks without being disconnected but when it happens oh yes it happens like every 5minutes, kinda like Im being booted offline.. but I know its not that because my internet is still up on other devices
and usually when you get booted everything is off, leaving you looking like a sad puppy. When I do get disconnected though, whenever I reconnect Im still in the same party I was in -_-.. Are you guys fixing something at the moment or anything? How do I fix
this its really frustrating. I was on netflix and Gears of War 3 all day (no disconnect) BUT the moment I get Destiny I become a soccer ball!! I JUST WANNA ENJOY MY DESTINY ='(

I am constantly being harassed

Lots of people having this problem, it's a problem that's still alive and kicking since the beta wich destiny hasn't fixed and i don't see them fixing this because they're not answering the community.

Yes, there's an error code.. 2 actually. One with error code "hawk" and the other "caterpillar".

 

i have the same problems, 10-15 min in live , and then boom "xbox live disconnected".

and Microsoft don't want to fix it !!! grrrrrrr

 

Hey, guys! The named error codes in Destiny are from Bungie's side. You can check them out over on
their support forums and try out solutions you find in there. For further support, you'll want to post up on that site.

If you're getting a number/letter error code while being booted off of Xbox Live, please post up a new thread detailing that issue and troubleshooting you've already completed so that we can get you some individualized support.

 

I am having the same problem. There is no number/letter code when I get disconnected. I just get booted back to the title menu and I get a notification from Xbox Live that I disconnected.

I'm also having this problem, and there's no error code or message to report about. My xbox live connection just stops and thus booted out of the game. There's nothing to really troubleshoot there...

 

I'm also having this problem. It's really irritating and I hope Bungie or Microsoft fixes it soon.

 

I installed the game to my hard drive and played it from there, disconnecting stopped !

 

Go to you're storage settings. Deleat destany, and all the updates. Redownload the updates and it will work after that. Just dealt with the same problem a half hour ago and I'm back online. It's a curuption In the update itself.

 

Just a suggestion, open up your storage and delete the destiny compatibility pack under the game then let it reinstall.. I was having the same issue and it worked for me.
