Why am i console banned?

I got a console and i don't know why and xbox doesn't either

Why am I not yet shown on the in-game Leaderboards?

I want to compete with some friends for highest scores on the in-game Leaderboards, but the game just tells me I have to play the game in order to be ranked. Errr, I've completed the Hard guitar tour already.

The only person on my friends list that shows up (and many have played the game) is Guns LotsOfGuns.

What do I have to do to get the flipping Leaderboards to work!?

GH2 - they worked but couldn't be sorted by difficulty level so we couldn't battle for bragging rights on Hard/Expert if we couldn't achieve the same sort of scores as Medium.

GH3 - utterly and fundamentally broken and thus completely useless in game, as far as I was concerned. They didn't show everybody, the filters didn't seem to work, scrolling up/down would change who was shown. We never used them.

Rock Band - I'm not listed and I can't see my friends.

Why are Leaderboards apparently so difficult to implement properly!

Having the same problem myself, finished the drums and guitar tour on medium and nothing on the leaderboards. :thumbsdow

 

Support and the Enforcement Team are separate branches of Xbox. Sadly they quite often don't know anything about the other one.

Also quite sadly apart from a message telling you that you are console banned, you won't get anything more out of the Enforcement Team. You can't even appeal it at enforcement.xbox.com, which is something I find very odd since it's known that Microsoft have
falsely banned consoles in the past (though that was 360 era to be fair.)

Did you buy it used? I'd get your money back (or at least an exchange) if the console itself is banned from connecting to Xbox Live.

Device bans are issued to consoles that were used for egregious Code of Conduct violations (repeat offenders, fraud, hacking, tampering, etc), and they are permanent
and irreversible.

 

No i've had it Xbox 360 for 3 years and Xbox one for 1 year and i bought them from the store. and Xbox said that they don't know why im console banned and that its only 2 weeks.

I was playing against a modder recently the day before i got banned actually. cause i was playing black ops 2 and got into modded lobbies repeatedly so maybe some people taught that i was the modder and reported me.
