"Who's watching Netflix" endless loop Whenever I try to play a video

I've been having this problem constantly on both the Xbox One and Xbox 360

1) Load the app

2) Select my profile

3) Select a show

4) Press play, show gets to 20%

5) Netflix asks me "Whos is Watching?"

6) I select my Profile

7) Go to step 4

This is a constant loop and I cant play my show. The only fix is to sign out entirely of Netflix, sign in with my password again, and it will work. But the problem reoccurs in a few days. This never used to happen and its a constant headache

I should note, it only does this with MY profile on my Netflix account (the main one). The other 2 users don't seem to have this problem.

I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app.

I have tried signing out, uninstalling, reinstalling and signing in

I have tried a full reboot

Nothing works. The problem always comes back, and Netflix support have been useless (but extremely friendly).

I am led to believe this a problem with the Netflix apps on xbox one and 360. Does anyone have a solution or will this be fixed in an update?

Xbox Pause No Longer Works

Using the voice command "Xbox Pause" stopped working recently. It used to pause live TV, Netflix, Streaming Video, etc. and now it pauses nothing. I even tried pausing while watching a video on Xbox Movies and TV or whatever the app is called and that didn't
work either. It says "Cannot Pause Right Now" or something to that effect whenever I try.

 

I am having the exact same problem with the endless loop of the "Who's watching Netflix" page coming up. Netflix playback works fine on a Roku box but is broken on xbox360. No error messages, just this endless loop. Could it have been due to a recent patch?

 

I dunno but Netflix are no use, and ive tweeted them and MS twice with no answer. Probably putting it in the "too hard" basket.

 

I'm having issues with Netflix too. I can choose any profile login but one you choose a show or flick everything freezes at 25% no matter if the show is HD or not...If the show does start to stream after about two minutes of streaming the show will buffer
and freeze at 25% again... I can run Crunchy roll and Hulu at HD and not have a single issue at all. Removing the app and resetting the Xbox doesn't seem to work at all once updates take place... My Roku box streams Netflix with out issues... I can run Netflix
on Roku and my pc at the same time with out issue...

 

Sign me up as experiencing the same issue. I've got one other adult account and an enabled child account. The other two accounts do not experience the looping permissions issue. Futhermore, it only appears to be an issue intermittently or with shows I
have not watched in a number of days.

 

I have the exact same problem with the Netflix app on my Xbox One. Most movies that I try to play under my Adult primary account get stuck in this permissions loop. Movies that I play under my kids profile has no problem.

 

Ok guys, I have a workaround for this (doesn't fix the problem, but saves you a bit of time and frustration)

1) Load the Netflix app

2) Choose one of the profiles that WORKS

3) When Netflix is loaded, click "b", change profile, and select your broken profile

4) Play stuff.

This seems to work for me every time. Just load with one of the other Netflix users initially, then switch to your own and start watching.

Microsoft an/or Netflix need to fix this pronto!

 

I'm also having this problem! Xbox 360. I don't have this problem on the web, or on WD media player. (WD Media player is a real thing :| ).

 

Same problem. I have 3 other users- no issues. I've rebooted and exited, signed out. Everything you just said. But what's driving me EXTRA crazy is it seems to be random! Movies- work fine. Shows- depends. My daughter & I are marathoning Buffy- never an
issue. I watch Friends every night, no problem. Today I wake up and wanna watch Salem. Loop. Loop. Loop. SOMEONE FIX THIS FAST!!!!!! I'd rather have commercials with Hulu, at least their *** works!!!!

 

Oh I forgot to mention, my problem is on my Xbox one. My son has a 360, my daughter has a Wii and my parents have Apple TV (they're the other users) they have no problems with ANY of the profiles (including the troublesome one, the main one, mine) on their
consoles.
