Not getting it on release but will pick it up before the end of the year.

Waiting on a few friends view of it first as i'm still unsure about the combat system.

 

I will wait for a few months for it to drop in price before I look at getting this.

After watching a few videos of this something about the play play style of the game just doesn't click with me. And besides I have a few other games I'm playing right now along with possibly getting Dead Rising 4 next week I haven't got time for this game
right now.

 

So far on the Black Friday Sale I've purchased COD Infinate Warfare and the remastered COD Modern Warfare, Titanfall 2 / Battlefield 1 Bundle, Lego Star Wars The Force Awakens, Recore, and Batman Return To Arkham. I'd get this if
I knew what it was. lol

I'M POSTING THIS ALL IN CAPS. EVEN IF FORUM RULES DISCOURAGE IT. I LIKE TO EXPRESS MYSELF ABOUT THIS GAME AND FOR OTHER FANS OF IT. I GOT IT TODAY FROM JB HI FI (AUSTRALIAN/NZ RETAILER). I GOT THE PS4 PRO VERSION (FOR OPTIMAL VISUAL FIDELITY) AND XBOX VERSION
(SINCE IT'S MY PRIMARY CONSOLE PLATFORM). I'M SO GAGA ABOUT THIS GAME I GOT A PS4 PRO FOR IT, AND AM NOT THE ONLY ONE WHO DID. THIS GIRL GOT A PS4 PRO FOR THIS GAME TOO. YES I SUBSCRIBED TO HER CHANNEL: Suzy Lu (on YouTube) Suzy Lu

I WILL BE DOING YOUTUBE VIDEOS OF THIS GAME TOO. BUT TODAY I'M CONCENTRATING ON THE INSTALLING FROM DISC AND THESE DAY 1 UPDATES. PSN SERVERS AND XBL SERVERS ARE BOTTLENECKED TODAY BECAUSE TONNES OF PEOPLE ARE GETTING IT.

I LOVE THIS GAME. FINAL FANTASY XIII WAS MY FIRST XBOX 360 GAME AND FIRST FINAL FANTASY GAME. FINAL FANTASY XV IS FINALLY OUT AFTER A 10 YEAR WAIT FOR IT (FIRST ANNOUNCED IN 2006 AS FINAL FANTASY XIII VERSUS). I LOVE THE CHARACTERS, THE STORY, THE GRAPHICS,
THE THEMES, THE BATTLE SYSTEM.

THIS GAME DESERVES A LOT OF HYPE. IT'S BIG. AND THUS THAT IS WHY I'M CAPS THIS POST. BOARD THE HYPE TRAIN PEEPS. GOTH, I EVEN PUT A LIKE "FINAL FANTASY XV IS OUT" LIKE POST IN THE ACTIVITY FEED, ANOTHER WAY TO SPREED THE NEWS. NEXT, YOUTUBE, AND ON HERE. k,

I'M SURE YOU KNOW WHAT IT IS, JUST PRETENDING YOU DON'T, XD. IT REALLY APPEALS TO ME. AND A LOT OF PEEPS OUT THERE INCLUDING EVEN MY XBOX FRIENDS. MAYBE YOU DON'T LIKE GIRLY BOYS OR ANIME?

 

The two reviews I've read both say that the four main characters are well fleshed out, but the actual story of the game, is confusing and just not very well explained. In fact the Eurogamer review even said that although he had watched the film Kingslaive
(full length prequel film) and watched the Brotherhood anime, it still left some parts a little confusing. And if he hadn't watched these, he really wouldn't have understood a lot of what was going on.

So after ten years in the making, they had four great characters, but the main story is just a little meh, plus the fact that the summons are also vague in that you can summon them whenever you want, instead you have to meet some conditions that the player
doesn't know about.

 

If you watch the Kngslave movie that comes with the deluxe edition then it explains a lot of the holes in the game. I watched the movie before I started playing the game and they feed right into each other.

 

The story is quite simple from the trailers and movies. The badys conquer the last untouched city, noctis has a hot gf, the king dies, noctis must fight to become king and get rid of the badys.

 

OP, how are those Metacritic scores working out for you? Swept up in launch-day hype - oh wait, there wasn't any - I swung by Metacritic to see how the XB1 version stacked up. Er, NIL reviews from nil database. Try again tomorrow. So here it is, Day 2 on
the road trip to Somewhereville, and *still* no critical acclaim. Okay, so maybe OP is basing his anticipation and hard-earned on the PS4 version. Let's check it!

Er, today it's sitting at #75 in the "all-time high" (lol) of greats for the platform - beaten somewhat soundly by FF XIV Online (#49) which launched two years ago. I've just got done with Watch Dogs 2, and despite the customary downgrade in resolution,
it wasn't a patch on its forebear - the XB1 version. Trust me, I went hard on these games, ploughing a tonne of cash into Collector's Editions and I'm still unimpressed. So, the moral of my story is: ALWAYS compare like-for-like before buying into the hype.
Don't go basing your belief system upon the "other" version, because your version - *our* XB1 version - might just be a steaming pile.

Apart from that, smileskybird: Did they not teach you no learning at school? It's "baddies", not "badys", ya jumped up hyperventilator!
