Who's Evolving Tuesday?

I'm starting to see more of what you mean tho, they need to improve the servers or whatever. Last night I kept getting disconnected as soon as I joined. The gameplay is so solid and that's what makes that party frustrating.

So far which monster do you think is the toughest to beat? I think a Stage 3 Wraith is probably the toughest BUT all around I think Kraken. At Stage 2 & 3 the Kraken is deadly plus he can stay in the air lol. Goliath is great all around as well.

The hunters or the monster.

I've been playing this nonstop lately so i've actually gotten a lot better, and have some strategies down so I can usually win against the bots now.

But yea man we should definitely play a few games sometime, I should be off all day tomorrow!

 

Finally won an Evacuation as the monster last night playing as the wraith, sneaking around the power relay and abducting 'em one by one is such a brutal joy!

Also, Bucket is now my favorite hunter!!

 

Well done Hog, it's a lot harder than I thought it would be playing as the monster against the bots, just won my first against them as Goliath by destroying the relay

The more you play the more fun you have.

 

Just had a ton of epic matches (all wins) with some friends. We even had a nail biter against a stage 3 Goliath that was CRAZY! This game is so much fun and it's enhanced the more you play and if you use communication. I'm pretty sure I'll suck as the monster
so I stick with the Hunters lol.

Assault is still my main but I love Laz from the Medic Squad (Ciara when we do Rescue) and Cabot from Support. Favorite combo is Cabot + Parnell = MEGA DAMAGE!

 

Found a new appreciation for the Trapper Class, ABE! He is a beast. As long as you are familiar with the map and can cut the Monster off you can shouldn't have much problems without Daisy. Those Stasis grenades are amazing!

I tell you what tho, randoms haven't been that bad but I think the worse offense if any player is when you are a medic and you do not heal the whole match. I'm not sure if they just get into the game from playing Destiny or CoD and just wants to shoot things
but Medic isn't a damage dealer and shouldn't be in the monsters face lol. For me that has been the worse offense. I've seen a few Maggie's put up domes for no reasons and then take forever to take it back down.

This game is still a blast for me and I got 2 people from my Destiny crew to pick it up so I'll have my full team real soon. It's hard trying to play with others (like Doc lol). I think what keeps me going is trying to figure out the best way to beat the
monster and learning when to use and not use certain abilities. I love how if the trapper is dumb they use a dome around another big Shear monster (happened yesterday) so we lost the Medic quickly followed by the trapper herself. Not from Goliath but from
one of those tall creatures.

Right now I would give this game a solid 8/10 with the only gripes being...

1. Lobby! I wish they would add a lobby. Select the class you want and let people join in (similar to L4D). That way when you're playing alone you will get to play the class you prefer. It may take a little longer but still.

2. Progression system! It's not that bad for me because I predownloaded so I had Tier 3 unlocked already but the fact you may have to keep using a character that doesn't fit your play style to unlock the next is stupid and takes may take away from how good
this game can be. For instance, I hate Hank and don't care for Bucket so if it wasn't for the preorder it would have been awhile before I unlocked Cabot, if ever! Heck I might not even get Bucket unlocked now lol.

 

I appreciate where you're coming from.

But I'm glad the game makes you play as people you don't want to be every now and then.

I hated Hank until I had to be him a few times.

Then I gained an appreciation for the character, how he works and how he compliments and is complimented by the other classes.

Early on it was easy to know which class I wanted to be. Now I'm spoilt for choice.

 

I'll agree with you there. I still think it can be off putting but I ended up appreciated Maggie a lot more, Abe as well. Hank isn't bad at all, I just don't like his gun at all lol. I think this weekend I will try to unlock Bucket and Griffin to have all
Hunter unlocked.

I've had matches where I've done 20K damage with the turrets.

As of last night, my Medic (Val) was ranked #40 globally (now she's #46, but haven't been on today). My support (Hank) is #2250. I like both, but will play others if need be. Maggie is a good all around trapper, basically because of Daisy. Assault is fun
too. Monster is least my favorite.

 

Liking this game a lot, only played against bots but the AI is well good, had a great game of defend last night that we won, but it was quite close. I like how the games are pretty unpredictable and the maps are great. Can you actually play co-op with
mates or is it just MP with randoms? Glad I picked this up.
