WHO WANTS REPUTATION SYSTEM REMOVED

I'd like to see it enforced more. I don't want to play with people with bad rep. That's part of the reason why I just straight up don't play with randoms anymore.

When you report someone for something they did in a game. (cheating, glitching, or unsupported behavior) It will still effect their Xbox reputation. Just like it did on the 360. When you report someones message or profile the enforcement team will investigate
and decide if it goes against the terms of use and code of conduct.

protection from "trolls" is the solo reason i picked microsoft over sony

serious reports arent even responded to anymore. same reports where delt with earlyer.

There is one way to see if the rep system works...

What we need is a volunteer to "take one for the team". This person must a be "role model" in the X Box forums that one would never think that they would break the "rules". Said person would invite every person in the forum, and everyone on their friends
list, to play with him/her and ask to be reported. If the rep system truly works there would be no change in their rep. If on the other hand the system is broken...well we know what will happen.

Any volunteers? ;-)

Our gamertag is already posted when we reply. Not really necessary to write it down. Secondly I don't really mind the reputation system. Yes it's abused sometimes, and it's sucks. But if we didn't have a reputation system.. then someone would post.. "Why
don't we have something that we can rate players with". So no matter if we have it people will complain if we don't have it people will complain. Just leave it as it is.

 

The people who like the rep system are crybabies and old people. There is this really awesome feature it's known as ''mute''. I've never been affected by the bad rep, but if i were to accidentally team kill I would get bad rep for it and that is just stupid.
The system isn't smart enough to determine whether it was accidental or deliberate, all it cares about is the team kill so no matter how it happens you get bad rep. There are several other accidents that can happen and you will get punished apparently severely.
I don't even bother plugging in my mic anymore because of this flawed system. I miss the people who talk smack, bring them back. You can't just force people to be nice to each other we are talking video games here GAMES, GAMES! if i were to compare the xbox360
community to xbone community it would like an intense game of football vs a game of golf.

 

I'm not an oldie or cry baby. The Rep system should stay as it helps paint a picture of how the others see you when they Rep you (both 360 and the 1 system). But I do think there should be an easier quicker way of getting redemption back to good player if
you fall into the red or orange category.

and quitting though including myself doesn't really mean I'm not a good person to play with. But I still have good rep on both systems. I find peps talk more smack in COD than in Halo. But the percentage who talk smack in COD BO2 zombies is less than those
who do it in multiplayer like search and destroy. Sometimes I don't mind it, but if they bring out all the swearing and hate in it I mute and possibly file a complaint. That's why I only tend to play BO2 multiplayer (search and destroy/team dm, with friends
(have full friends list on 360 system), zombies playlists are ok.

 

Well i got bad rep today for using the AA to effectively remove the enemy airforce off the map, i found a good spot that gave em very little time to establish any kind of flight manouvers and do i get good rep for helping my team, do i get a thanks?? No
i get a message calling me a skill-less camper who needs to l2p the game and that i am getting bad rep lol

I hate how BF tries to suck pilot testicals all the time, get bad rep for stingers, bad rep for AA, bad rep for most things taking down a jet yet its cool to be completely dominated by a 30mm Gau Cannon that i have absoloutely no defense against.... maybe
its time to start bad repping back, C4 Jeeps, C4 Roof throwers, people behind rocks with C4, yeh i might bad rep em all, dont wanna be an engineer deal with being defensless to armored vehicles skill less camping noobs :/.

Don't even get to cod, i quit after bo2 but the amount of bad rep i had consistently through all of em due to my playstyle, it's not about being nice or sucking other gamers off in a lobby, they hit a point and rage and report/bad rep is about the only outlet
they have other than sending an abusive message of which i used to have many.

I am being punished for whiny people and people without a clue throwing toys out the pram not that i see rep or anybody elses rep when i join a game anyway but if its going to effect multiplayer on games i have paid 40 quid + for then it needs to be working
properly and being properly enforced if thats not possible then it needs changing till it is.

 

I love it, people who know they are doing wrong complain that they are the victim. Makes perfect sense in such a world.

 

LTA, while I don't believe you were inherently doing anything wrong, you were doing something that is obviously frowned upon (in this case, camping). My advice to you is to also avoid doing those kinds of things for any great length of time. While you may
be keeping the enemy out of the sky, it sounds to me like you weren't playing to the objective either. There are numerous ways you can keep your eye on the sky without having to resort to camping and upsetting other players in the process. Moderation is key,
I think. Camp a little when you have to, but never a lot.

 

So basically i have to play the game how other people like not how i prefer, it doesnt say in the toc dont camp in an aa and shoot aircraft, if i drive around its curtains, 2 good hits n that's the end of the AA, i'd have to carry zuni rockets where as radar
locks are a preference.

Add to that the pilot is going to report me regardless coz i am shooting him down, he head on tries to cannon me and loses to the heavy cannon, regardless of me being at A, B etc etc he's raging because he cannot kill me and i kill him, so why should i be
getting tagged off for killing someone, the only people upset is the pilot i am sure my team was enjoying the freedom of movement without being constantly bombarded it's not hard to take me out with a bit of thought considering i havent gone anywhere.

It's like i said i hate people hiding on roofs or behind rocks for long amounts of time then c4'ing my tank, or when you have snipers laying on various hills for the entire gamei dont report them i dont expect them to change their playstyle to suit me so
why should i change mine to suit them when i like them are using equipment as intended?

 

Xbox LIVE doesn't care about any of the above listed actions. No one is going to have their ability of XBL Match Making lowered from being good or bad at a Game. It doesn't matter how many people Report you on XBL if you are not
doing anything to violate the ToU/ CoC nothing will happen to you.

LTA, you say a pilot will report you regardless if you shoot them down. I know that this is blatantly false as I myself, in a scout chopper not 3 minutes ago, was shot down by an AA when I was trying to lock onto it - and I did nothing of the sort.

 

Please just create a idea on the Feedback website, it proves to be more effective when a feature or change is desired. Xbox Ideas, powered by UserVoice
