    Who wants a better war shooter than C.O.D?


    As a veteran gamer of many years I can see how a franchise like Call of Duty has fallen in to a repetitive recycling rinse and repeat rutt. The fact is there's little to no effort going in to improvements or credible direction for this franchise. With the talented devs Microsoft Xbox now has to work with there's a window of opportunity to create a better war shooter than C.o.D. I am able to put forward a game in writing to produce a higher quality war shooter with a better direction and concepts should the Xbox team accept my offer as opposed to a limited 12 month rinse and repeat shooter we are exposed to year after year. Let's hope there's enough support in the community to see my concepts presented to the team.

    Hello and welcome.

    Being a third person shooter, Gears of War may feel odd or more difficult than a first person shooter, but as you play it more and get more familiar it will get better. Not to mention Gears of War is one of the better controlling third person shooters out
    there.

    BF3 does a better job simulating war than mw3 does simulating an arcade shooter.

    Will Call of Duty ever be the same?

    ^It has everything to do with the setting. I believe a lot of us would just like to play a "somewhat" realistic shooter without exoskeletons, mechs, etc., and that's what C.O.D. used to be. I love to play Titanfall with the mechs and wall running, just don't
    want it in C.O.D.. I would have been happy with a Modern Warfare remake with more maps and character customization.

    C.O.D. doesn't have to be original or initiative...it just needs to fill a basic need for me to play soldier. Lol.

    I am predicting MW 4 or old C.O.D. series getting remastered (MW 2, MW 3, WORLD AT WAR (VIETNAM), C.O.D. CLASSIC, C.O.D. 2, C.O.D. 3). Next or prequel stories to GHOSTS,Call of Duty:
    Combined Forces,     Call of Duty: Devil's Brigade, Call of Duty: Roman Wars.

    Who cares if it's a shooter.



    It's fun.



    You could trade in "Dead For Rights" (throw in a Pot Noodle and they'll most likely not charge for taking that game off your hands) and then you've restored the balance and have no more shooters than you started off with.
