Who is Responsible?

When Microsoft Bricks your XBOX X with a faulty update, who is responsible? I was playing a game two days ago. Today, I turn on the XBOX, and it crashes at 71% of a Microsoft update, each and every time. It does not let me Reset the whole system, as it just returns to 69% of the update, and then crashes a again at 71%. I tried several times to do a USB update, it gets to 1%, crashes again and then goes back to the original update, at 69% and proceeds to crash again.

Why doesn't Microsoft have restore points like Windows has. This is frustrating, it worked fine and now, because of a defective update, I'm screwed!

Yes. But it is lock in a continue loop!

There is no other way to stop the loop of crashing at 71% and restarting and going straight to 69%, downloading to 71% and crashing again, over and over. Resetting creates an error and goes back the faulty update. USB loads to 1% before MS kicks it out. Nobody signs up for a program that brick with zero support.

You don't use the offline update

Didn't you read the faq when you signed up?

You can't use the offline update and must goto rededit

Also, I am an XBox insider. I have tried to opt out, but they state that I used a previous email address, which no longer exist, That means they will reply to that address and I will have no way to access the Email address.

They do but ok first off are you using xboc insiders?

If so you can't use the offline update as per the aggreement you signed when signing up for insider and yes offline update us NOT meant to replace insiders and there is a proccess you must follow

Don’t know as it only shows they error code after it crashes at 71%. I know it is the latest update.
