Who is preordering Halo 5?

I'll buy it the day it comes out, I've always loved Halo and the evolution of the game. Pre-ordering is pointless, aside from having your pre-order money sit in EB, Gamespot or whomever account collecting interest for a corporation,

well if you have paid for it you can download it when the release it. which they will do several days before the release date. you just can't play it until the 27th, is all. anyone who buys the halo special edition console starting October 20th will be able
to download the game early

I just don't see the point of pre ordering anymore unless the bonuses you get are worth it and in Halo 5's case, they are not worth it to me.

I just found out NO SPLIT-SCREEN and CANCELED my pre-order.

This will be the first time I will NOT BUY a Halo game at launch.

I will wait until its used and abused dirt cheap before I play this game.

The game is totally awesome, since Bungie is gone. What are you talking about? The graphics got better, the story has gotten a lot more depth to it and yet, it all draws from the lore pretty cleverly.

As far as gameplay, everyone forgets about Bungie's latest Halo, Reach, was really what Halo 4 evolved off of. The concept of sprinting, assassinating elites, etc. My only gripe, is, I preferred the series stayed more rustic, as Reach did...as opposed to
its near sci-fi/ fantasy feel. Halo 4 seemed to diffused, warm and ethereal...and it seems to have carried on that tone for Halo 5. Halo Reach was more gritty with a cooler/ muted color palette. It gave the game a more "realistic" feel. I still will always
regard Reach as my all time favorite. For the first time, you felt expendable and mortal, yet more covert in that game..as opposed to "nobody can stop me, I'm Rambo!"

I may not get this game when it comes out, but will get it for Christmas. Plus I wanna see if this game works at launch after the Halo MCC incident.

It's not the weakest either. I can empty a whole clip of an AR into someone and they survive. But someone can kill me using a BR with just a couple of shots. It's way over powered to be a starter weapon.

If your game get accidentally deleted you can just redownload it.

Once you own a digital game it becomes permanently linked to your gamer profile and can be redownloaded on any console your profile is on

well I don't mind the games being chosen for me as long as 343 has separate hoppers for the different gametypes. and will someone PLEASE tell them to make sure there's a BTB objective hopper? as far as I can tell, halo and all of its successor games from
H2 on have never had the btb objective as its own hopper
