Who is preordering Halo 5?

Cancelled my preorder after playing the beta.

I can't stand the BR rifles and being forced to use them with the constant BR starts is annoying.

The game need better weapon balancing and more weapons not boring game modes where everyone starts with the most powerful weapon in the game.

Preordered Halo wars 2, did not get key for definitive edition

I have not received a cd-key for halo wars: definitive edition after preordering halo wars 2.

 

Pixels Promotion

I never received my code for Geometry Wars 3 after buying Pixels.

I also never received Halo Spartan **** for preordering Halo 5 Premium.

 

Starting with BRs is only this part of the beta phase for one, and two it's hardly the most powerful weapon. I'd rather have a DMR, or even better the light rifle. Now that's a powerful weapon, other than spawning one everyone tries to get.

It's not the weakest either. I can empty a whole clip of an AR into someone and they survive. But someone can kill me using a BR with just a couple of shots. It's way over powered to be a starter weapon.

There are three things that need to be considered with all weapons. Distance, scoping increases accuracy, and aiming for the head. I've experienced this same thing with the AR but I'm usually lacking in at least one of these three areas. When not lacking
in these areas, getting multiple kills with an AR is not unheard of.

 

I never pre-ordered games before getting Destiny and Halo MCC. I will never pre-order again. It seems like this generation of games all come broken and try to implement fixes after launch. The standards are REALLY bad in the industry now. Halo MCC still
hasn't fully fixed multiplayer match making. Big Team Battle takes forever to match. Other team games take a while but are tolerable.

Since 343/MS has decided not to do furhter large scale playtesting I not only won't pre-order, I'll wait for the game to roll out and get reviewed before buying. I'll probably wait at least a month to ensure the bugs get worked out. I was hoping they'd
at least do a round of Big Team Battle testing so vehicles and long range weapons could get some real checks when a LOT of people are playing.

 

waiting at least a month wouldn't have done you any good for MCC. You're right it still is broke and as more time goes on it looks like I might be right that it will never be fully fixed. I don't even touch the game anymore. If they kept Halo 5 beta going
indefinitely, I would feel like I got my money's worth.

I've never pre-ordered a game in my life. There is no real reason to for the consumer. It benefits the seller.

 

I already have i play for the story and its all that matters to me so Midnight launch for me. Also MCC is partially 343's fault but not all there fault the MCC was made by 3 party companies even the UI was. They can be blamed for not having good communication
with these companies but 343 made nothing in the game.

doesn't matter if parts of MCC were made by 3rd party companies. 343 are still to blame. They should have used the cloud servers like titanfall does instead of the current system. They are a Microsoft company after all.

The matchmaking is still taking way too long and to make matters worse the voting system seems to be rigged to always have at lease one choice for team slayer BR.

This game mode is boring as hell. Sick to death of playing it. Can't stand waiting a couple of minutes only to have everyone vote for this boring game mode where everyone uses the same boring weapon. It forces me to quit which is not something I like doing
but quitting is better than being bored to death with the same game mode over and over again.

They might as well do away with the voting system and just put everyone in a team BR match anyway because that's all that is ever selected.

I have a feeling that Halo 5 is going to be the same. Even if the matchmaking is quick it's going to be the same game mode over and over again because any voting system it has will be rigged that this game mode is always an option.

This is why voting shouldn't exist. On paper it sounds great, but in practice it's a complete failure. You end up playing the same crap over and over, and it encourages quitting for those who are tired of the same crap, and those who insist on playing the
same crap. The H5 beta chose the game for you (like H2), and I hope to heck it stays that way.

When I played the beta it was Team slayer BR over and over again.

I heard it was a total different game mode the week before but I didn't have the beta then.

I must admit it totally put me off Halo 5. Cancelled my pre-order because of it.

If there is no voting system or at the very least a system similar to Halo Reach where you get a good mix of games then I may end up getting the game after all but if the game turns out to be rigged in favour of team slayer BR again or any type of BR start
then I definitely wont be getting the game..

 

Well ya the beta was limited. Not sure why you would cancel your preorder because of that - that doesn't make sense to me. It's as if because the beta was TS only, therefore the final game will be too?. Cancelling your preorder because there is no point
in preordering software - now that makes sense. I'm more of a BTB person, but I had a blast with the beta - despite being TS only.

I cancelled because I didn't want to risk paying for the game only to find it has a voting system like the MCC which is rigged towards Slayer BR.

The game would be a total waste of money then because I would not play it.

I will wait until the game is released and watch twitch and read reviews. If it has a good selection of games modes I will buy it. But if it's Team Slayer BR over and over and over and over again I will be done with Halo and not bother with it.
