Who is gonna help protect Philadelphia in 2016?

When Homefront: Revolution comes out? I'm really excited especially since I was born in Philadelphia (west Philly). The game is supposed to be different than the last Homefront. Some points of note are below from this

link. Anyone else looking forward to this game?

Homefront: The Revolution narrative designer CJ Kershner, "Everything is new for Homefront: The Revolution." He tells

MCV: "It's a new team, new publisher, new style of gameplay, new backstory..."

"Dambuster is making its own unique mark on the name of Homefront, so anything that you remember or know about the first game: forget it now," he said. "It's not a continuation of that story or that style of gameplay. There's a reason we don't call it Homefront
2."

As for why Dambuster is keeping the Homefront name, Kershner--who also worked on the first game--said, "There's power in that core premise of being a guerrilla fighter and fighting in your own neighborhoods against a technologically and numerically superior
military force. The premise is strong and the execution on the first game leveraged the story and the idea, but not the actual mechanics of what that would involve."

The Revolution is set in a United States (Philadelphia, specifically) that has been occupied by North Korean military forces for four years. Players will lead a resistance movement utilizing guerrilla warfare tactics to battle the "superior" North Korean
army. The game boasts a single-player campaign, as well as a four-player online co-op mode. The original Homefront had a traditional multiplayer mode, but it's unclear if The Revolution will retain this feature.

Anywho, this game really has my interest. I think the N.Korean army occupying US is a good plot.

 

I'm interested in this, the guerrilla war aspect sounds interesting, and anything Korean and I'm in!

 

I hear ya on the Korean thing Genchy. In 2005 & 2006 I taught English in S. Korea. Before I went to school each morning to teach I picked up extra work on Monday, Wednesday and Friday's going to the government building near Changwon to speak with government
officials. They knew grammar etc already, but I was just there to speak to them 3 times a week to keep English fresh on their minds.

There were 2 different times when we had bomb drills in case they were ever attacked by the North. It was kind of surreal to me so that's another reason this plot really piques my interest.

 

I was in Seoul earlier this year chilling in my hotel room and thought I would watch a bit of Korean TV. Flicking through the news channels and a very animated and excited anchorman suddenly cuts to a map of the peninsula, with bombs coming from the North
and retaliatory strikes from the South, then cuts to footage of troops and armoured rocket launchers storming across fields! I was so fast on the iPad BBC site to see if WW3 had started!! No Armageddon just the usual annual military manoeuvres! Panic over!
