Who all, here, has been with MS and the Xbox since the beginning?

I have been with since first xbox . refuse to waste money on x1 .

 

Got the original XBOX at 12am on launch day. Stood in a lineup of about 50 people. My friends thought I was crazy at the time and then they tried Halo.

 

^ Can I ask, you GT, is it in relation to the awesome 60's series of the same name?

 

I have through my father rip, He showed Bruce Lee on original Xbox.

 

Been gaming since the original Xbox. Back then no one had broadband and only dial up was available. Just played with friends via system link, good times. Bought my first Xbox 360 secondhand from a pawn shop a year after it released finally we had broadband
internet so I bought a live membership when Halo 3 came out and have been gaming ever since on live. Still on the fence with Xbox One but I am watching the development closely of the console. Currently happy to stay on my Xbox 360 atm.

 

Got the original Xbox for Christmas in 2001, along with Madden. Traded that game in for a used copy of a game I had never heard of before, but looked interesting (Halo) and have never looked back.

 

I remember buying a secondhand copy of Halo CE at a local pawn shop. Didn't know what Halo was about, it was just one of those random purchases. Glad I did it was the best $10.00 I have ever spent.

 

I remember my best mate asking me to play Halo with him for the first time... I knew nothing about it, and thought "Halo"?... Doesn't sound very cool... Little did I know.

I would go on to spend countless hours over the following years cooped up in a room with him replaying it, especially "Assault on the Control Room" and "The Library" over and over again...

Good times.

 

I've been here since about 6 months after the "brick" was released. I took one look at Halo c.e. and said to myself " I've got to have it".

 

I have been hear for many many years now.

I bought my first Xbox for Halo and then upgraded to a 360 around 3 months after in launched and upgraded to Xbox One on launch day.

 

I have owned an Xbox since the first launched with Halo CE, and I have been on live with one account since 2004, I'm 10 on my next birthday, and I have been on these forums for nearly as long.

There seems to be a variety of different backgrounds here, which I love. I would of loved to of known my Xbox Original GT (was there a GT prior to LIVE?) just to remember what I created lol.

 

I have been on live since the project gotham 2 days on xbox live my current account was approaching 8 years before my tenure was lost along with many other people. I also had another account for a couple of years.

Also been around the forum for years

 

I just used my name for my game profiles prior to Xbox Live, is there a way to see our first registration on these forums ? There used to be.

 

A few years a go you could see when you registered on the forums that was before all forum changes started happening.
