Who all, here, has been with MS and the Xbox since the beginning?

Was there for the start of the OG Xbox, but no online for a couple of reasons. 1) Too busy playing sport to worry about the online portion. 2) At that time Australia's internet was pretty much non-existent. Loved that console and it's games. Incidentally
I also had a PS1 & PS2 at the same time.

Had the 360 at launch, 20Gb model, but not too much online either, as it was off and on due to sport once again. Only had one RROD 1 month out from the end of the extended warranty period. Sent it off, bought another core system with HDMI to tide me over
on the +3 months it took to get it back. Sold the original 360 fir $100 and eventually traded the newer box towards my current Reach 360.

And now I have the Xbox One (OG box and Reach 360 too). I played and finished Ryse, and was happy with it for a launch game, especially after remembering the 360 launch titles. I played PvZ Garden Warfare, and enjoyed it, but it was cute, that's about it.

I'm now well and truly hooked on Titanfall, and happy with my purchase. I luckily have not had any issues that others have had (touch wood), and am looking forward to E3 and the future of gaming.

Hopefully someone here can assist, I signed up for the MS rewards programme a few months back, I have entered into a couple of the sweepstakes to win an Xbox One, however there has been no Winner since March (Ireland Site). Has MS discontinued the sweepstakes
programme?

Rise of the Tomb Raider - Xbox Exclusive.

@24, Silent hasn't even been announced as exclusive to anyone yet and seeing that Sony gave Ninja Theory their 'break' with Heavenly Sword it's no surprise that they release Hellblade first on PS4. TR though has been multi plat since PS2 and og Xbox days
and every game since then has been on Sony and MS machines, the backlash is warranted, though I personally think Crystal Dynamics/Square Enix are the bad guys here and not MS.

 

Bought the original XBOX on release day. Bought the XBOX 360 about a year after release. Bought the XBOX One on release day. Didn't get my Live account until 2007 for Halo 3.

 

since day 1 here. literally. never looked back.

 

Dead or Alive 3 back in 2002 I think was the first game I got with my xbox, didn't play video games before that, I remember playing it with my brother and thinking wow, this game is so amazing. Few weeks after that I got Halo and it was THE GAME that made
me appreciate video game so much more. Other games I loved: Project Gotham Racing 2 and Rainbow Six 3 online, and my favorite game of all time Halo 2. I changed my gamertag since then bunch of times but I've always been an xbox fan and seriously doubt that
will change

 

I bought my 360 4 and a half years ago. I've been loving every second of it. No original Xbox or X1 yet!

 

More games worth mentioning that bring back memories : RalliSport Challenge 1/2, Sudeki, Burnout 3, NFS Hot Pursuit, Tao Feng, Fable, Brute Force (yep, I was one of few people that loved it, lol), KOTOR, Splinter Cell, Soul Calibur 2, ...Then some 360 games:
Kameo, Lost Odyssey, Blue Dragon, Forza 4, Gears of War1, ....

 

I had the OX since launch, there was 2 main reasons. 1) I played & enjoyed Halo with friends & 2) I liked the controller (Duke) better than PS2. I've been into FPS games since Goldeneye and the PS2 was not satisfying my FPS itch (besides Timesplitters 2)
so I had to get a better console.

I enjoyed the OX for a few years but when Halo 2 launched & some friends convinced me to go on LIVE, that was it. I had SO much fun playing just 1 game online that everything except RE4 on GameCube couldn't hold my attention. Of course I played other games
but most of the time was Halo 2 or RE4.

And then the 360 came out and my library of games exploded.

 

i never had live on the original Xbox till I bought 360 and then bought a xbox one day one loved xbox for a long time

 

I bought the original Xbox on release with Halo, I still remember carrying that thing in the streets lol.

Still got it hooked up to my bedroom tv.

 

I remember watching my nephew and his brother-in-law playing Halo: CE while we were all at my sister's place for the holidays, shortly after it released. I got my Xbox that day (after I tried a few games with them of course). We used to have a blast getting
together at my nephew's place for Halo LAN parties on his 60" DLP rear projection TV that was 'state of the art' at the time... lol

Also... I remember MS DOS 5.0... and using 1.44 and 2.88MB floppy discs.

 

I have the original xbox, xbox 360, and just recently (VERY happy I did) got the xbox one. But I also own PS2, 2 PS3, and PS4. I like games and I guess I can't be called a fanboy. Although I do think the xbox one has the better games right now. I can't stop
playing Dead rising 3!

 

Been here since the first Xbox but didn't buy at release. Xbox one is my Frist. Xbox is my console For one reason only. THE GAMES. PS has nothing I wanted.

 

I didn't my Xbox until...04? In 05 I got Xbox Live for the first time and I was hooked. I kept buying more games for my Xbox just to play online and when it broke in 06 I got a 360. No intentions on getting an Xbox One though.
