White square pops up while loading

Deleted profile and recovered account and now it doesn't exactly freeze, but it still doesn't load the dashboard. It sits on the screen with the two white circles spinning in the center (where it previously froze), but they just keep spinning. It pops up
and says that I am signed into xbox live and I can use the remote to bring up the guide while the circles are spinning, but it doesn't ever load the dashboard for my account. I left it sit for about 5 minutes with no change.

Thanks for the post but i think you misread the problem; i only have official mojang downloads of the launcher and the microsoft login screen doesn’t even pop up if i press microsoft login it load for a second and then a pop up appears in the corner. i can’t even attempt to log in. the account i was signed into i already removed to try to log back in so im at square one

Try going to White Run again and waiting for 24 hours. See if he pops up then. He never appeared for me when I first got there, it took him a while to appear.

Yep, GG is right. Go to new releases and click the little box at the bottom with 3 white squares and it brings up every game released from new to old.
