White sign in screen when using mobile broadband

Hi Guys.

First time poster here so be gentle please.

Ok both my sons have xbox ones & one likes to play online with his friends but our broadband here cannot handle it when we have more than one device connected which is a problem when I have to do admin for work my wife is also working from home & the boys
are on their xboxes basically it all virtually grinds to a halt we get via BT broadband 25mbps at most.

I looked into other options & because we are not far away from a mobile mast I tested a few different networks & we get nearly 100mbps on mobile broadband so I purchased a 4G router a Tp Link Archer MR200 with a 3 unlimited data sim to test it all to see
if was viable to ditch BT & go mobile broadband & for the most part it works great the only issue at first was it wouldn't load media in twitter which I could more than live with however when the boys started to complain they just get a white screen when trying
to sign in on both their xboxes it then became a massive problem as you can imagine.

The only way around this at the moment is to connect the xbox to the BT broadband sign in & then reconnect the 4g broadband I use a ethernet connection from the 4g Router so I simply plug it back in but we can't keep doing this every time.

Has anyone had any experience with issues like this if so how did you get round it or resolve it if you did manage to do so?

Any help or suggestions greatly appreciated thank you in advance.

Hi Kenny,

Thanks for the update. Just letting you know what usually causes it. There could be another network around you that it is picking up also. You can try the troubleshooter I gave. Otherwise best bet would be to call your ISP for the issue.

Double NAT usually means it is trying to connect to two different devices,

Not sure why that is the xbox is the only device connected to my 4g router via ethernet there are no other devices involved at all.

the only thing i can assume is its a gateway as it outputs a wireless signal & like most standard routers it has 4 ethernet ports as that link describes.

not sure who to contact 3 network or the router manufacturer?

Hi thank you for your reply i have just checked multiplayer settings & it has come back with double NAT detected. This can prevent you from having an Open NAT.

Thank you so much for taking the time to post this on the Xbox Forums.

I would like you to run a test on your console so we can determine what sort of speeds you're getting, and if you get any error messages when connecting.

First, I'd like you to test your multiplayer connection
under your
Network settings. This can be done by following these steps:

Press the Xbox button to open the guide.
Select Settings.
Select All Settings.
Select Network.
Select Network settings.
On the right side of the
Network settings screen, select
Test multiplayer connection.

If you get any issues, you can try using
this article, but I'd also like you to get the Detailed network statistics. You can find this on the same
Network settings page, on the right hand side under Test NAT type.

Get this results for us and we should be able to provide some additional info for you!.
