White Screen with Black circle on sign in

My son has been trying to log into his account for a week now. Each time he tries a white screen with a black half circle loads. No error codes or messages. See image below. It won’t allow him access to any of the content he has downloaded, any gamer tag
stats, online access, etc. He’s essentially locked out.

Other accounts can sign in just fine. His account is also accessible on other xbox one consoles.

Any ideas?

signing on

I try to sign on and I just get a white screen with a circle spinning. I have xbox live. The ones that do not have xbox live can sign on.

Cannot sign profile in after latest update

Xbox boots into dashboard, after you select a profile it goes to the black screen with a white circle, after about 30 seconds it returns to the dashboard instead of going to the password input screen, seems like its timing out

Please have him
remove his Gamertag account from the console according to these instructions.

Then restart the console by holding the power button on the console for about 10 seconds. Turn the console back on, and make sure it shows a green boot screen during startup. If it didn't show a green boot screen and went to the Home Screen right away, hold
the console's power button again for about 10 seconds.

After the console has finished starting, have him add his account again with the same instructions above.

But to add can sign in offline and just tried wireless and wired to be met by a white screen after having a spinning circle in the middle.

I was having the same trouble. The new screen is white for me. Normally it is black. I went offline in the network setting on Xbox, then went back online. Tried to start a game, and it asked for me to sign in, and the screen has turned back to the normal
black screen and I signed in fine. But this has happened to me with the white screen for the last few days. I am in the UK. Hope this helps and you can get signed in.

Quantum - Yes, very similar. I haven't tried clicking around to get the Signing On screen to minimize, will try that today. Mine will sit there with a Black Screen, the "Signing On" circle spinning for a minimum of 45 secs after the primary Xbox loading
screen. Then it jumps to the Home.
