White Screen on daily challenges Microsoft Solitaire Collection

The last two days when I go to play the daily challenges on Microsoft Solitaire I click on one of the games doesn't matter if it is Klondike, Tripeaks when it tries to load the screen goes white. The events work the single games work just the daily challenges.

Solitaire Daily Challenges

Most of this month, July 2017, I have been unable to play the Daily Challenges in the Solitaire Collection. What happens is I get to the Solitaire Collection screen, locate the Daily Challenges option and click. The screen to select a specific game, one
of five choices, opens up, then click on a game choice, click. The screen shows it is loading. Occasionally, there is a message that states it is having some difficulty in loading, then poof a white screen. All the other attempts to load a game there is no
message, just poof a white screen.

In attempting to resolve this white screen issue I will exit out and restart and go through all the motions again only to get a white screen. After about 5 or 6 times of this, I may attempt to play a non-Daily Challenge game of solitaire and then try to
open a daily challenge game again. This had worked early on a few times, but now nothing works.

I have tried some online MS forums recommendations which hasn't fixed anything.

Could someone please fix this as I am no expert with computers and software. When I wish to play a game and relax a little...

 

I have the exact same problem:

My Solitaire Collection worked fine until a few days ago. The main screen loads okay and I can play the regular games from the top row. When I select a Daily Challenge or an Event, the next screen shows okay too. But when I select an actual game from either
place, after getting a "Loading" icon, a blank screen is displayed with "Microsoft Solitaire Collection" displayed in small font at the top left of the screen. And that's it. Note that when I try to do the same thing from the online game - Microsoft Solitaire Collection - MSN Games - Free Online Games,
I get a similar problem. In this case though, I get a loading screen that just hangs there. My laptop is about a month old and it came loaded with WIN 10, including the Solitaire Collection. I've loaded a lot of software that I had previously on my old laptop.
The last thing I remember loading ( a couple of days before this problem surfaced) was MS Digital Image Pro 7. One other thing of note, I've also just started getting a message about whether I want to load WkUFind.exe every time I restart the laptop.

Hopefully, someone out there can lead me in the right direction so that I can once again play my Solitaire games.

I fixed the issue which has to do with Windows Defender. You need to turn off the App & browser control. I re-downloaded and it worked so I hope this helps you and anyone else having the white screen issue when you click into one of the games in daily
challenges.
