    Hi, just bought a mixamp to fix an issue on my twitch stream. The issue was people could not hear people in GAME chat. The stream could here people talking in my xbox live party chat but not random people in "game chat". The first day I plugged in mixamp
    stream could hear game chat and I could talk using my mic on xbox live party chat. IDK what happened but the next day it gave this message in xbox live party "We can't find a microphone for these people" I've unplugged and plugged everything back in and reset
    the mixamp. Updated xbox elite controller.

    I think what did it was when i tried plugging in an aux cord into mixamp's stream port to hear twitch alerts and music through headphones it doesn't recognize my headset mic anymore, because i used a 2 ring aux cord instead of 3.... idk if thats truly the cause.
    Any suggestions would be great ! Thanks !

    quick explanation of how its setup:

    USB plugged into PC

    Optical plugged into xbox one

    Using Hyper X cloud core headset plugged into headphones port on mixamp

    (need to buy a 3.5mm 3ing aux cord for stream port to hear twitch alerts and music through headset)

    I'm having the same questions, but the only real answer I can find is that the Astro A40s with TR Mixamp (Xbox One version) is the only one that seems to support simultaneous PC and Xbox connection for audio and microphone.

    Thank you for posting on the Xbox forums. I'd be happy to help.

    If you have troubleshooted the Astro equipment already, then I'd recommend troubleshooting the console itself as well. First,
    go ahead and do a
    hard restart and power cycle    . Hold down the power button on the console for about 10 seconds until it shuts down and then remove the power cable from the Xbox and the power outlet for about 5 minutes. Then re-connect and wait 60 seconds before turning on
    the Xbox.

    If that doesn't help then you will need to try out a
    soft factory reset    .
    1. Press the Xbox button to open the guide.
    2. Select System > Settings > System > Console info.
    3. Select Reset console.
    Make sure to select "Keep my games & apps" and have the correct account login information plus your Wi-Fi password ready if you connect wireless because you will need to re-add the account's that were on the Xbox and re-connect to your network during the
    reset.
