White background for XBox

I still don't know why they changed it. It used to be gray, but going from a dark game to a white screen is terrible on my eyes. They could allow for customization. It has been eye torturing ever since.

I also don't know why you can't talk to XBox One friends or play with them. It doesn't make me want one, it makes me want to switch to PC. Expensive consoles wit proprietary connections that make you spend more and more to upgrade, I'd rather have a nice
computer with better quality. I'm on my fourth 360, two went bad on me.

Xbox One Solid White Background colour

Hi all,

I was wondering how to get a solid white background colour for the Xbox One Home background. Strangely enough the console does not ship with a simple white colour background. So using Media Player, I streamed one from my computer onto the console, but when
I put it as my background, there is a black tint that goes over it and makes it look grey, defeating the purpose of a white background. I don't understand why there just isn't one available in the first place.

Any help on how to circumvent this would be greatly appreciated
