whistling noise out of my XBox one

Hey Community,

since a few days there is a whistling sound in my Xbox One and its really disturbing. I read a lot about it and nobody knows how to get this away and what it is. It began with an update but i cant say whats the exactly update because i doesnt made an update
since January, but i played xbox and there wasnt any strange noises. The light of the Power adapter is white but i think its because of the power saving mode and the noise doesnt comes out of the Power Adapter.

Whistling noise?

My Xbox 360 was making a high pitched whistling noise while playing Forza 4. After five minutes of that noise it freezes. It's only happend twice but thats when my console was horizontal.

Can you clean the disc, it might have a smug on it that is causing a problem.

As the noise you mentioned is present while playing a game on disc or off your console's internal hard drive, we can rule out that it is a disc drive issue. The noise becoming worse during gameplay (when the console is under a heavier load than normal),
points to the problem being associated with the console's fan. As the console works harder it will generate more heat, causing the fan to spin faster to dissipate the increased heat, therefore producing more of the noise you are hearing.
