    Screen goes black while using

    I use Hdmi cabel for the connection. The game goes on while the screen is black for a few seconds. It happens with cd and gamse that are on the drive.

    Black Screen Flashes Since Update

    Since the update I get a black screen flash up every now and again whilst playing games or using apps. I've had this happen with Fallout 4 and tonight whilst using the NFL. It's not very often but I can't time it, sometimes it's a quick flicker, other times
    it goes off completely for about a second, it is pretty annoying though.

    I have the same problem, me and others...but the complete power cycle doesn't work..beta testers must tell this to developers!!!!

    The complete power cycle doesn't work; hopefully this isn't a hardware problem because I have had this console less than six months.

    Maybe it's a software problem MS must fix it with a firmware update but the question is "when"!

    Update: By changing the resolution to 720p it has stopped this from happening. Its not perfect but will get the job done for now.

    For destiny beta, just unplug your console, wait a minute, replug it back in, and it will work. This was an issue with the destiny beta for xbox one and can be fixed this way.

    If anyone doesn't mind re downloading games and updates, try a factory reset in the settings. It helped me with the sound cutting out for a second at a time. I've left the preview update now. Too many bugs and downloads to be worth the hassle.
