Which Xbox to get

I would recommend the One S based upon your planned usage. They can be found (like I did) on eBay at a very reasonable price and mine has continue to work for years with no issues. It is a real work horse and is of high quality. The best thing is you can
learn what your actual needs are and project what they will be and then upgrade later to what you then desire while still having a great second console for when the kids get older or if you or your partner decide you want your own!

I think for kids, an XBOX One S is enough. You just want to play and graphics is good on the S as well. Better to save money and invest in more games for the little ones.

If the kids are not super big gamers then the One S will be perfectly fine for them. The One X is more for higher quality of gaming. If they planned on uploading clips on you tube or recording a match then the X would be the better option! I am a gamer
and I use the One S with the Elite controller 2! Works perfectly fine for me!

Thanks for reaching out to us, I can give you some insight depending on what you're looking for. The Xbox One X is a power house console and play and stream in the highest quality compared to the S. It is a bit more money but it will not disappoint regardless
of who plays on it or watches anything on it. However the Xbox One S is a slimmer and smaller console able to play and stream in HDR or 1080p depending on the game being played.

I have the Xbox One X and have been pleased since only do to the quality of gaming that I receive from the console itself, however it's all personal preference as both console will still perform very well for it's lifespan.
