Which tv should i get?

Hello, my friend just bought an Xbox one, and he decided he wanted a new tv, purely for gaming. He's found two that he's quite interested in, one of which is £220, which has a frame rate of 60 Hz, however he found another one which is £240, and has 100 Hz.
Just wondering if it's worth paying the little extra for 100 Hz, or to play it safe and get 60 Hz. I've heard a lot about 100 Hz giving input lag, however the TV page says its okay for gaming. The link below is the 100 Hz tv. Any advice on what i should get

Which TV series should I watch?

Before you say Breaking Bad or The Walking Dead, I already watched them. I finished the last episode for Breaking Bad yesterday and I WAS AMAZED. The cliffhanger was spectacular and I did NOT expect that to happen. I'll try my best to not spoil it, but it's hard to keep the secret. It's like I'm Marie .
Anyways, I'm looking for a new TV show to watch now, preferably something similar to both of them. Currently I'm downloading Lost, I heard it was a great series, and was recommended by a friend. Should I be watching some other show? I've heard of Doctor Who, and some other series but I'm not sure if I want to watch them. What do you guys recommend?

Depends on how far you sit away from the TV, I sit about 6ft away and have gone from a 30" to a 40", and I would say at this distance a 40" is on the big size, but it also depends on what games you play, in FPS you need to be able to see all the screen all
the time, and I think its easier on the 30".

 

When i got my 360 i was also furnishing my bedsit, i blew almost all of it on one furnishing, a 50" 1080p TV .. I've wanted a bigger TV for a year or so now but still waiting for prices to drop lol
