Let me just preface this thread with before you click on the next link.



Will you be the good guy whose duty it is to serve and protect or are you in it only for yourself and the money?

Personally, I always like to be the good guy - they always win in the movies. ;P

While EA may make some pretty questionable games in terms of quality, their trailers are top-notch, so at least there's that.

People were but when you have moderators that don't care (i.e. banning any-one who objects to the threads but not removing those threads despite resports) and enough people intent on disrupting the forum after two weeks of any thread not titled along the
lines of "Why Dice should be sued for stealing code from Call of Duty" or "why COD is GOD and BFBC2 is poo" simply gets drowned out its not a case of oh leave it a mod will fix it to be honest if this forum were filled with PSN rules threads and we couldn't
discuss anything because the thread would quickly be dropped back pages I'd say people here would be more than slightly annoyed.

It basically ended after the thread in the COD forum and infact cause the launching of an internal investigation into the moderation team of the BFBC2 forum and a complete new lot of mods brought in (who infact cleared up the forum) however it was once case
where simply sitting back going oh it'll clear up, just didn't do it.



Its not fighting for your life however it is fighting for a right to be able to discuss a game in its own forum, and as the saying goes "I may not agree with what you're saying but I'd die so that you could keep the right to say it"

again valid point the thing being if your wife basically banned you from talking about Battlefield then constantly talked to you about MW3, wouldn't you be the slightest bit annoyed at that ?

For me, in my opinion MW2 spoilt the COD franchise, Treyarch healed it slightly with Black Ops. IW I believe will turn out another COD 4 reskinned (again). The Battlefield franchise for me is great, I have both standard and LE on pre-order with game, gives
me that choice once it's released. I prefer the Battlefield for it's teamwork element, no running and gunning, no spinny no-scope sniper shots, adds that element of realism. I'm not not a Fanboy in any sense, just prefer 1 slightly over the other. I stil
play COD but for a more pick up and play quick type game.

So to summarise, I will be getting BF on release and wait until COD drops in price (somewhere around 2020)

 

I'm the guy who don't buy games made by EA (nickname : Happy consumer).

(Not sure if i'm a good or bad guy).

 

That's pretty harsh, Tzar. Personally, I like to judge the game based upon what it offers, not on who the Publisher is... but to each their own, I guess.

 

Yes it looks good but I played the beta and that didn't do anything for me probably my own fault I didn't put enough time into it but with a 10hr trial getting added to EA access it will give me more time to see if its worth a purchase or not.

The way I feel the now I'm going to get Ori and then Mortal Kombat so at the time of speaking Battlefield can wait .....

 

I'm actually with you there Boozy; while I'm somewhat excited for BFH, I'm more excited for Ori and MKX.

 

Not really harsh,it's just that i only play one or two "competitive" multiplayer games per year (got Titanfall and Halo MCC).

I'm not a sport game player anymore.

And EA RPGs has turned into action/adventure games.

It's more about my taste and EA choices.

 

not getting this game didnt like the beta on dont really play online getting borderlands instead

 

Not day 1 for me the beta was very dissapointing a big step back from BF4 in almost every way in my opinion

Neither, played the beta and found there was one or two nice features, but overall it did not do more for me, the lack of destruction is also a let down, it's one of the things that makes BF different, and it appears not to be there, so not a purchase from
me.

 

I actually did enjoy the Beta to a degree. I found the lack of destruction and lack of Content a little disturbing.

I also immediately thought the Game was a little on the ugly side. Given both EA/ Dice failure of a launch for BF4 (and even BF3) now with sub-par graphics and performance I will not be getting this day one.

If/ when (more then likely when) it is dirt cheap I'll pick it up then. One can only be burned so many times before they simply learn to not stick their hand in the flame.

I don't necessarily agree with your sentiment, since I'm still on the fence, LK, but this was nicely put.

 

Well I had no intentions of buying or playing Battlefield Hardline but I've had some luck because I entered a competition on Twitter and just found out today I've won a copy as well as a copy of Final Fantasy

I've still no interest in playing the MP but will definitely give the SP campaign a go. Out of interest has there been any info how big the SP campaign is? I'd guess probably not that big but I still can't complain, run through the campaign and take it straight
down to GAME and trade it in
