    Which should be the home xbox?


    We had 1 xbox downstairs with the family set up on it. 1 adult 2 children. 1 child now has got their own xbox upstairs. We have 1 ultimate subscription. The new upstairs xbox has been set as the home one. But now the child left on the downstairs xbox doesn't seem to have the ability to play online or access the gamepass games. Is this to do with the xbox we have set as home or something else? Should the downstairs xbox be the home one or do we need another subscription? Sorry I'm very confused. Thanks

    You will need to get a separate subscription for the other one since the other child will lose access as well if you set the account that has the subscription as the home Xbox on the other console.

    Yes but if it is a digital copy and it is my home xbox then I should be able to play it offline. And as I said above I do have it set as my home xbox which is why I have a problem.

    You should set the live account under which the code was redeemed as xbox home in order to share with other accounts.
