which perk is better

out of these two perks would you rate better to equip they are both 3 perk points each

wire tap or off the grid

i currently use off the grid on my set ups

Anyway, I'd say New Vegas. Better, less linear, more original story with better writing and characters, deeper RPG elements that allow you to better create any kind of character that actually has an effect on the game world, better art design, an
ending that actually shows the consequences of your choices, and most importantly, it actually sticks to
Fallout canon

 

I like both tbh. Wire tap is awesome when Sat Coms are being spammed. I don't use off the grid that much, but I see its benefit. I put it on one or 2 classes.

 

Off the grid is ok, particularly if the enmy is spamming satcoms, as defy said. But I really dont use it unless it starts seeming as though the satcoms are actually getting the best of me. Usually, even when they are throwing out a lot of satcoms, it
doesnt really hurt me enough to waste the points on.



I havent used wiretap yet. I set up a classs yesterday for hc mode thinking it would be nice to have a minimap more frequently. I dont care much about seeing the enemy team, but it helps me keep track of my own. wound up not being able to join the friend
I was intending to, so I never did try it.

 

I haven't used Wire Tap so I couldn't tell you about that, but I do use Off the Grid on all my loadouts.

 

I don't believe wiretap even works on Hardcore. I have used it before and it didn't show up when there was an enemy satcom up.

If anything, off the grid, though you are better off with something like Amplify in my opinion.

 

Its only as good as the user. You can hear noise, but you gotta pinpoint it.

 

If you use Sat Coms, or you play with people who do, Wiretap is really good. I found it much more valuable than I initially thought it would be when I was using it.

The skill is all in pinpointing the exact GPS co-ordinates for where the cymbals are coming from.

 

Scavanger, sleight of hand, Sitrep. I don't mind being visible on the map tbh, I'm also looking forward to some more ANZ players on XB1

Bob, I noticed you're victim to the 1 star bandit this year. I really think the star system needs to be removed.

 

@Foom - Yes you do have to pinpoint it, but with surround sound speakers or headphones it's pretty much telling you exactly where the enemy is or where they are going to come from.

In all seriousness, I agree and the rating system is pointless feature that no one should take any notice of.

 

But none of the rest of us got any stars at all..........

 

And that's unfair distribution.

 

Off the Grid is the better of those two, but Focus is probably the best perk in the game.

It really is quite a convenient perk for most/ALL situations.
