    Which is the better Subscription?


    Gold is definitely your go to if you want to play online and you will really enjoy it if you have some friends to party up with. Gamepass is good but for me personally I would choose the Live over the Pass if I had to pick one. Don't know if its in your
    budget or if you know about it, but they do have a ultimate pass which offers both and it saves you money on the gamepass.

    So during April insiders program update they announced that the Xbox Gold and Xbox Game Pass are being bundled together.

    This is what they had to say...

    "The company is launching a new subscription package on Xbox One that bundles Xbox Live Gold and Xbox Game Pass together. It's called Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and costs $15 USD per month.

    Xbox Game Pass is well worth it in my opinion especially if you are a member of Xbox Rewards and use it often.

    My Xbox rewards pays out on avg £10 a month to my Xbox account, and so makes my membership very cheap.

    With the extra money hopefully you can get the Pass and Gold, it's just an option I thought might come in handy.

    As the Pass has great titles is well worth it.

    Hi there DOWN,

    This has probably been answered in a previous response and I missed it. I wanted to take a moment to list out the options here. Firstly I will start by saying that an Xbox Live Gold membership is REQUIRED for any sort of online play, and is also required
    before purchasing the Xbox Game Pass.

    Xbox Game Pass ($10/mo): Microsoft generally offers a great "Join for $1" deal periodically throughout the year. This is a great time to try out the game pass to ensure it's something you may be interested in. You can also take a look at the game pass page
    to see the list of games currently available from the pass. If one, or some of these games are something you could see yourself sinking some time into then this could be a great option for you.

    I would like to mention EA Access also. This is a very similar service to the Game Pass as it will allow you to gain access to a library of games that can be downloaded and played as you please, given you continue paying the monthly amount. I should also
    mention this will also give exclusive discounts on EA games. The price for this is only $4.99/mo, but it doesn't include quite as much as the gamepass, and it isn't updated as frequently either.

    It really depends on the games you like if you like sports and fps then ea access, if you want a variety then go with gamepass.

    But you need gold to use any of them.
