    which country am I supposed to buy a code for?


    Hi, i have a Dutch microsoft account for my xbox one s. I'm currently living on Bonaire (Dutch Antilles). I would like to buy Ark evolved explorer edition. Should i buy a pack suitable for Europe/the Netherlands, or should i buy a pack that works on Bonaire?

    Its the problem that occurs when you buy a code of 5 dollar (or any dollar) from another country rather then the country in which you use your xbox then you try to use the code on your xbox from the foreign country where you bought it then it says the
    problem that asked.

    Although xbox are playable in all regions, if I buy game code in one country, activate it in another country, shall I still need to use proxy to activate?

    As I know, take FORZA HORIZON 4 Xbox One Game for example, when I buy FORZA HORIZON 4 xbox one game code in USA, but I can't activate the game code in South America Countries without using Proxy tool.

    I am wondering if NBA 2K20 Xbox One Game Code works the same way as FORZA HORIZON 4 Xbox One Game Code?

    If I buy NBA 2K20 Xbox One game code in UK or US or HongKong, could I directly activate the game code in any other countries without using proxy?

    Please, I need an official answer for this.

    Can't create xbox account

    Once making an Email, you choose a country. If you provide an Email with a country in which Xbox Live is not available, they will give you this problem. However, if you provide an Email with US as a country, it's supposed to work. Hope this helps.
