    Which button-combination is used on the "Xbox One" to Reset the Engine?


    Just like everything else... there is a way to Reformat or Reset the Xbox One by some kind of button-combination, like holding the Start button down until you hear the engine stops spinning and then unplug it or something, ive read so many different ways
    im frustrated and just wanna know which way is the Correct Official way?! ^^

    Pac-Man Museum, same button combination for Xbox 360 home menu needed to reset options for each game. (BACK + START/VIEW+MENU)

    While playing BC Pac-Man Museum on Xbox One, the same button combination to open the Xbox 360 Home Menu on BC games (VIEW+MENU) is also required to reset individual game options in Pac-Man Museum (BACK+START).

    Currently, if the options have been changed from default, a warning appears stating that there will be no entry to the leaderboards. As the button combination to reset the options has already been designated to the Xbox 360 Home menu, if we wish to reset the
    options, it's a case of hoping the right combination of options doe not trigger the alarm screen.

    reading trouble disk.

    Mister Parks, I believe that they are talking about a specific controller button combination which supposedly resets all system updates on the console. I've seen it posted and talked about on various forums on the net.

    A hard reset can be accomplished by opening up settings and choosing the restart option OR you can hold the button down on the front of the console until it beeps and restarts. In either case it is similar to a hard reset in that it deletes the cache and
    restarts the console. As J3RS3Y DEVIL said console reset to factory default is the only other option and you can choose to save your games and content or delete it all and start over.

    I recall on the title screen for Contra if you pressed Up, Up, Down, Down, Left, Right, Left, Right, B, A, Start it would give you 30 lives.
    Those were the days.

    Gaming has changed so much that I don’t think developers implement things like that anymore. As games now have elements of online/multiplayer to them, button presses like that would bring imbalance so they are not added anymore. Be interesting to know if
    any games in the the last decade or so had secret button presses mini game modes or special messages.

    The only button combination that remains that i know of is the one that brings up the secret developer settings it should have been changed or patched but if it's there for a reason then it's part of the console but still if anyone were to touch anything
    there could render the console in a boot loop or bricking the console causing you to buy a new console

    It's one of those functions i believe many gamers and support representatives some of them are aware and unaware that pressing and holding the guide button for 6 seconds till it turns off the controller only some say there were button combos that let you
    check network statistics and game file info but i believe that changed and made it easier now also back then you had to double tap the guide button to record or take screenshots but now it's a shortcut just simply pressing the guide button you see the options
    there i heard they mentioned a combo of either the bumpers or triggers and then X button I'm not sure they probably changed those functions too
