Where's the forza demo

The guys at InsideSimRacing have posted a bunch of gameplay vids up, thought the Indy car was crazy fast on the oval? Wait till its flying around Rio lol

Yeah pretty incredible driving considering they don't use any assists whatsoever, I would've been in the wall first corner lol.

 

I frankly felt that the colours are a bit over saturated giving the game a cartoonish/unrealistic look and feel.

Other than that no one can do a simulation like these guys, they nailed it on the physics side, but I think they are falling short in graphics.

Forza horizon 2 is still my favourite racing game, simulation is not my cup of tea.

I don't drive with all assists on but I do have a few. It still amazes me how these folks put in the times they do with no assists.

I'd take my hat off to them if I wore one

 

I'm still learning a lot when it comes to racing, so I look at a lot of people and think, "...but that's impossible! How'd they do that!?"

The skill gap in the Forza series, to me at least seems like it's 1 of the largest there is - kind of like the gulf of an entire canyon... I'm on 1 side, as are others, with a select few on the other far side.

I think it's just like any other game, you have your not so good players, average players, good players and the gods lol

Sometimes players just have the knack with certain games, some are good at FPS, some racer's etc etc

Also it's the amount of time you put into games. I've posted before, I know one guy since the Xbox One launched, apart from Minecraft, Forza 5 is the only game he has played. I've put loads of hours into Forza, not a fraction of what this guy has played
though.

The beauty of Forza though, it does bring in players that wouldn't usually buy a racing title. My wife for example, I'm picking her a copy up, she will do very little racing but she will spend hours doing designs, paint jobs.

Boas / Lofty did you get settings for the wheel ? I'm picking the game and wheel up for my sons birthday so any help setting it up would be most appreciated

 

My son's got a few set up's for the wheel mate. I'll send him a txt now to remind him to send them over to me.

I don't expect a message from him tonight. He's mate has just become a dad today and they were setting off down the pub this evening so chances are I won't hear from him much before tomorrow afternoon lol
