Where's the forza demo

I think the tracks look better than they did on FM5. So far it all looks pretty well done.

I agree. Not sure how to describe the tracks but they look a bit more gritty? I think over all even though Forza 5 is a fantastic looking game but this just looks better.

One week today

 

All i can say is wow, wow, wow.

They have made certain elements more sim like and toned down the impact on collisions. I think this could be the perfect racing game for me.

Was anyone else amazed by the sense of speed in the Indianapolis race? I have never felt like i was going so fast in a game before.

 

They seemed to have nailed that sense of speed.

Sometimes racers don't always give you that sense. Even in Forza 5, you look at the speedo and it says 150mph + but it doesn't always feel your going that fast. Here though you really get that feeling

I've said it before, I think the demo is incredible. I wouldn't say is far surpassed Forza 5 in terms of handling, visuals etc but it just seems to me they have improved everything, even if only slightly but it just feels so good to play.

Cannot wait.

I don't know what all went into it but it just looks better while driving. As far as the feeling of speed, Yea! I had to start over at one point because I was looking at everything but the track lol. I can't wait to try out some online and see if we can
fill up a full room.

 

In Forza 5,i remember doing an achievement with the MC Laren P1 at Le Mans.

In the long "straight" line,after reaching 300 km/h,i can tell you that i felt the speed...

But i guess,the feeling depends of the car: open wheels,proto,hypercars.

But yeah,Forza 6 looks & feels better.

 

Still having the same problem with my wheel where the game doesnt match my wheel when its fully locked, it feels like my vehicle can turn more when it cant. Anyone know of which settings to change to combat this?

I have the ferrari 458 wheel btw

 

I dont know ,this game Need for Speed looks more fun to me then Forza.

 

Just finished playing it and while it's gorgeous and I love the menus far better than its predecessor, I've either lost my touch or the new game mechanics involved with the night-time and in-rain driving make this game much, much harder.

Those puddles are killer, man... KILLER!

 

Imagine how hard it will be with open wheels and prototypes....

 

Not really about the demo but what time is midnight UTC in comparison to EST. Just wondering when I'll be able to play on Thursday

 

Once i made it past the Initial Rio race where i was forced to drive with a Driveline/Auto tran and all manner of Noob assists on i really enjoyed the demo even the indy race ( I find oval racing a yawn).

Wet weather racing is superb and i hope a Bathurst Rain version makes it into the game later.

Wheel spins are a great addition as are mods but im not sure how much ill get out of them as i already race with most assists turned of. Showcase events show the most promise for really mixing it up this time around.
