wheres the buzz for this game?

I havn't been on the forums in a long time, but came back and this was my exact thought. Where is the hype for this game. My friends and I grew up on the COD since COD2 and there was about 8 of us that all had systems and played each one in and out till
about MW3...there just seems to be less love for this game year in year out. I will say a couple of us love Destiny so far. I for one havn't been able to put that game down. But I will be picking the new COD up as I do every year. Just hope I get past my
second prestige as I couldn't bare Ghost's.

 

Titanfall is a BLAST still.

 

havent prestiged once on a cod game since cod4 and with that game i went maximum on prestige and earned my yellow cross, yep this time last year these forums were heaving with gamers talking about cod, where are they all?..have they simply moved on and done
different things or have they been banned from these forums, a few years ago we had a blast on the cod forum it was actually more fun than playing the game but everyone has either been banned or disappeared, not sure why they bother catering for the same 10
people on these cod forums anymore.

 

It is pretty amazing how, across the board, the Xbox forums literally died. The AV Forum use to have some great discussions as well as most of the AAA titles. I mean there are literally two posts in the BF:Hardline forum lol.

 

have u seen the advanced warfare forum on the 360, its embarrassing..i reckon they have all been banned theres only uneasy and smoking bob whatever his name is left from the old days, the people who were friendly with the ambassadors just mailed them if
someone disagreeed with their opinion then it was an instant ban and look whats happened to these cod forums, shame we used to have such a laugh but they just ruined it for us all

 

Just pre ordered and pre loaded this and Halo. Call me old school but I'm looking forward to both. I didn't pick up Ghost only because I did not like the little i played. AW looks like a small but welcome change in pace. I will admit I remember the
hype around the original Black Ops and in comparison this is shameful.

 

ghosts is not that bad ok shoot me for saying that but im enjoying it more than i did ops 2 and ops 1, not gonna mention mw3 lol, only thing for me that lets ghosts down is the disgraceful lag comp and thats a game killing feature and so frustrating, yep
we used to have such heated discussions on these forums, now they are simply dead, i remember the mw2 post..you know your bored with mw2 when you start killing the chickens and that alone had over 100 replies lol, oh they were the good old forum days

 

You, and me and many others feel that cod is dead, but you know I just looked at the best selling video games of all time and ghost didn't do that bad 19 million copies sold to date. Thats better than cod 4 and waw. But way behind bo1,2,mw2, and mw3. So
yes Ghost didn't do all that well but it has only been out a year also. And it still did better than most video games. The battlefield franchise still lags behind and the only thing that consistently competes with cod is the GTA series. Now destiny and
titanfall have yet to weigh in as it is too early to tell, but right now cod as far as sells are concerned is still doing very well.

I still think that from what it looks like mw3 was the tipping point of cod's popularity, Bo2 was less than bo1, and ghost is downtrending so We sill just have to wait and see what Advanced warfighter does. but You got some stiff competition in November
with Farcry 4, and GTA V coming to Ps4, and One.

 

yes but they expect the next cod to sell more than the one before, maybe cod is dead to the older players as its aimed at kids now and in the cod 4 days it wasnt as hyped up and as marketed as mw2 onwards plus they made it easier and plain dumb with the
big hit detection and stupid killstreaks but they have to keep the kids happy

 

I think Activision has killed cod with Bungie and Destiny all the kids have moved on to that game. I rather enjoy it myself cause I can play with others but have gotten out of competitive PvP and enjoy doing story mode and strikes, raids with others in
PvE. I was a big WWII cod guy an rather enjoyed it when it was basic in cod 2 and 3. Cod 4 was fun, and a change of pace but you are right their weren't that many kids playing it. It wasn't until cod started putting zombies in cod that kids flocked to it.
You know I wouldn't be complaining right now if activision offered support for the older games. If they cleaned up cod 4 and got rid of all the cheaters I would play it again. It is the constant game every year that has ruined cod in my opinion cause when
a new game hits in november, the previous cod loses its support as in add ons and major updates.

 

ye have u been on world at war lately totally unplayable with the cheats, they even removed the waw forum thing on here because of all the complaints, cannot believe i will not be buying the next cod game i was always a first day buyer but just had enough
of it, would rather play lego batman with my kids lol

 

Lots of people are saying that CoD needs to change, then they change and the community slashes back at them for ruining "the amazing series of CoD". Most of the complaints about it are off-topic, quickscopers? Shoot them, if they're too fast then don't be
mad someone has faster reactions and accuracy. Maps will not all be CQB, the maps are huge, the trials are just set up to show the "actioned packed" game people, (people being the younger generations) would like to see in a video game. You're just going to
buy the game or not, it's that simple.

 

yes but it has changed into games we have available..halo and titanfall, cod hasnt been great since waw in my opinion but i still bought every cod after it, they are not great but are ok in my opinion but why would i buy this halo/titanfall clone, cod was
unique as it was a pure war fps now its a bouncy castle lol

 

Itll be COD, so I am sure Ill get it as I have for the last ten years its been released, but yeah, I have been playing Titanfall a ton. i like it, but I havent bought any of the DLC.

 

obviously it will be cod lol but thats your famous forum quote, i was gonna come on here to see if its worth buying but theres no one on lol...played cod for 2 hours last night and there was just one under the map cheat so apart from that, had a blast
