hi id like to know how to block someone from joining your game if they're targeting you and following you to every session and killing you and not leaving you alone and cant have any fun with friends and n public sessions and they call people to kill you
and send you inappropriate messages and you cant have the full gta v experience ? please help. the player also threatens me and more.please help as i never want to play with this player again nor have any communication with them. please help me this is urgent.

unplug your modem and router from the wall for 15 minutes or more, then plug it back in. issue resolved

 

@ALARCARD : There's only three things you can do I'm afraid to keep away from players like that..

First: Go to a Invite Only Session and invite only your friends to it. That will keep the undesirable player(s) from you.

Second: You can submit a player review to avoid the player. The messages they send, you should be able to go to their profile and also mute them, so they won't be able to send any messages to you.

Third: Could also file a complaint against said player via their profile as well.

@ALACARD, change your preferences so that when people view your online status it is set to "Friends Only"; this should make it seem that you are Offline to anyone who is viewing it other than your friends. When this is true, then players who are not on your
Friend's List who view this are not given the option to see where you are in GTA: O nor Join Your Sessions in Progress.

 

@LegendOfCGta,@Foregotten1,@ Deaths Head 200, i did nothing as he is a person i know in person who has recently been a pain, i told him that i will not be playing with with him as he keeps killing me and i removed him as a friend and left the session, he
now follows me to every single session and killing me, and even to missions.i have reason to believe the player was hacking my Xbox as of yesterday my Xbox was unable to do anything with gta and my internet connection was perfect. the payers GT is

Simple DoS. Probably got hold of your IP. Follow Z4Zone's tips to help prevent that by refreshing your IP (if you have a router).

Also, don't get into the habit of posting gamertags on the forums. There's a rule against it.

 

probably has a static ip, gotta call cable/internet and ask it be changed.
