Where to get Xbox One Charger Controller Back Part

I have two of these, one of which is fine whilst the others top part is broken. Where can I get a replacement part?

Hi,my console arrived today ok, - had ordered it via the official Microsoft online shop.

The controller that came with it doesn't work - I can see where the batteries go it is missing a metal contact for one of the batteries. I had bought a second controller with a play and charge kit which is working fine, so luckily i can still use the console,
just only one controller...

I have tried alternative batteries in the faulty controller. It won't turn on.

I have connected it to the USB on the left side (when play & charge battery is in). It won't turn on.

Comparing it with my working controller you can see that it is missing a metal part where the batteries go...

Need to send it back and get a replacement presumably - can someone at MS help?

Phoned the MS phone line but waited ages and no one picked up.

 

Seems like you're looking for battery covers? Judging by the hole in the middle, it looks like they might've come with a third-party battery pack kit. Microsoft doesn't sell spare battery covers, as far as I know.

If you're looking for that specific battery cover with the hole in the middle, you're likely going to have to buy another of the same battery kit that included them (if the above was true).

Otherwise, there's zillions of spare battery covers for Xbox One controllers on Amazon and eBay,
which shouldn't run you more than a few bucks each.
