Where to get repairs for my xbox one standard controller.

Thank you for posting on Xbox Forums! When it comes to controllers, if the controller is under the 90 day warranty we can set up a replacement order for the controller. However, we do not set up repairs for controller's, we only replace controller's
if they are under the 90 warranty.

If the warranty doesn't cover the replacement on it you'll probably have to buy a new one. I could also suggest asking a well trusted electronics hobby store in your community. They may be able to help somewhat depending on the problem.

I dont think it would be cost efficient to have someone else fix a controller.... If you could find parts you need and you knew how to fix it then it would make sense... But if controller is old and you get the left toggle fixed whos to say that the right
trigger wont fail the following day.... I personally would retire that controller and go find myself a new one.

XBox can't get their standard controllers to work.

My Day 1 developed drift. It's the only console I've ever owned where I have needed to purchase a replacement controller because one of the originals broke.

If they can't get the standard controller to work you'd be foolish to throw money at an 'advanced' one.

as the warranty has expired you could try a local video game shop to see if they offer a repair service or if they know someone that does repair controllers.

a good cheap alternative to the Standard controllers are the Xbox One Afterglow wired controllers (about half the price of a Standard controller) only downside is that they are wired.
