    Where to get an official offline installer for Games for Windows Live?


    Hi!

    The latest version of the installer for Games For Windows Live (GFWL) fails during installation due to a 404 not found. Where can I get an offline installer for this? This is preventing purchased games from running.

    Here are the logs from the installer:

    Thanks for the reply! Unfortunately, you will need to click the install to download any digital content for PC.

    If you have a Windows 10 device, you can now use the Xbox app to connect to the Xbox Live service.

    How to play Xbox downloaded games offline in Windows 11?

    Not sure if you've done this but, once you've set the Store setting to Offline, you need to start each game in question (whilst connected to the internet), log into Xbox Live if prompted and, once the game has loaded, quit and it should be setup for offline play.
