Where is the Games For Gold or atleast a $ale for the Xbox One family already

Powerstar Golf is the first discount from an XB1 game. I'm tempted to buy it for $15 but I would say that it will be the first Free Game with Gold in a few months. Otherwise it'll be Lococycle or Crimson Dragon.

I still see the appearance of PSN+ being an outcome of their horrible network hack and how they gave games away for free because of it. And since so many people decided to stick with the unreliable shoddy network and take free games they made it into a feature.

And I'm sure the GWG stemmed from PSN+ being a success.

Who knows how much better XBL will get now that they see Sony actually getting some gamers back.

The Gold and Plus accounts are basically requirement now so owning or renting is somewhat irrelevant. The only time either of my "premium" accounts have lapsed is when I've headed back over to the PC for an extended period of time ( normally a MMO release ).
If I'm not using the console I won't miss the games rented or owned.

back to your console. What if you come back say a year or so and want to play those games again? Will you have to buy them again? Or can you go into your download history and redownload the game, or are you stuck?

I've always come back to my consoles, if they lapse it's normally only for a couple months.

The PS Plus games are still there, so are your saves. Once you renew your good to go.

a temper tantrum like a 5 year old and littering the forums with said tantrums is very counter-productive and serves no one. I can be calm and articulate while explaining to a company why I am no longer buying their products and/or services. I won't troll

Look my point in all of this has always been. We as xbox players really could care less what is going on over at psn. I've known about their free games for as long as they have been around and not one time did I think "well that's not fair". Or not once
did I think "well I'm going over to playstation". The simple fact is, if you like there service better, then go there. Your like a bunch of children. "Mummy they have cake! Why can't I have some?". And as for randver saying there are no ps fanboys in this

Another thing many gamers tend to forget is that many groups of friends have started or used XBL over the years and were very happy with the results. Sure, there is plenty of alternatives to go for, but why would anyone have the NEED to change? Why tell
anyone how and where to play their own entertainment?

We all have different tastes in games and we all know how to find them, who cares what the device is.

I wish I could game 24/7/365 then I would be playing every single game on every single device that would let me. Not gonna happen, I'm fine with XBL.

And I never said about only getting stuff for free but if a game or two has horrible ratings and costs $20...it's alot more likely we would give it a try if it were released on sale for just a week at maybe $10...that's not asking too much. Also the 360's
Deals of the week have been pretty weak offering the same content almost every other month is like an insult to us the loyal xbox fan. I would just like to know when their schedule of events is happening kinda like the old games with friends calendar they
used to publish. all we seem to get is VERY VAGUE tweets or excerpts from some interview and then that's it...

I honestly can't be bothered with this any more. The whole xbox vs playstation crap will go on forever. I'm not defending Microsoft. I'm just saying I don't care about playstation. You guys want to argue, complain, and ask for everything then go for it.
Anytime playstation gets bought up I will not get involved. At all. Which on this forum is almost every thread. Worst part is, like I said. There is a bunch of guys in here that don't even own x1s but will bash it. Anyway, do what you want. Keep on ruining

While I admit I would like to have gold for free games on the X1, I think, and again this is me, but I think MS is waiting until there are a few more games on the market before launching this. I could be wrong in this assumption however.

Also if PSN+ still attaches their subscription to all games you get for "free" from them (as in when you sub stops your games stop working. And I'm not not talking about just multiplayer) then what they are doing and what MS is doing is entirely different.
Saying that you have free games on PSN+ is like saying you have 100k movies when in fact you have a netflix subscription. The games from games with gold, you get to keep and have forever even if you let your xbl gold expire. You may not be able to play
the multiplayer portion of the game (assuming it has multiplayer) due to reverting to silver, but you could still play the game, and you actually OWN it.
