Where is the DLC?

I just received an XBOX One and one of the first things I did was to download Tomb Raider Definitive Edition. I was under the impression that this edition was supposed to include all of the DLC. However, when I got to my first campfire, I checked to see
if I had the skill upgrades that were included in the Adventure Pack but they were not there. Does the downloadable version not include these? Did I do something wrong? Have I been ripped off? I'd appreciate any help.

You should try playing other platforms, if you don't already. There are plenty of those niche genres still around, maybe a little fewer but they're still there. You just have to look around a bit as most of them games you only hear about are the critically
acclaimed games and/or paid excessive amount of money on advertising. There are quite a few exclusives on the other platforms then Xbox at the moment, unfortunately.

Hi Galactic Urchin. No, you haven't been ripped off.

The DE has already included the DLC from the standard edition. So, for instance, on the 360 the Tomb of the Lost Adventurer was a DLC map you could purchase separately, whereas the DE has it already installed. Same with the costumes and multiplayer maps.
The skills upgrades, however, have not been added as they were only meant for the single player story mode, and you earn them anyway as you play.
