    Where is my old gamertag I was promised back? It has been 7 months!


    It has been 7 months since I have got back my old gamertag back. The enforcement team determined that their enforcement action was not warranted. They had told me that they would be returning my old gamertag back however they haven’t.
    I am stuck with my “temporary” gamertag and have been for over 7 months! They had told me that there has been a technical issue so I wouldn’t have my gamertag until the issue has resolved. However, it has been 7 months and this COVID-19 pandemic is not helping
    either! I had nowhere else to turn except to the community. Maybe there is a place where I reclaim the gamertag? I have no clue but it has been 7 long months since I have had my old gamertag back.

    You can request a call back or chat with support at http://support.xbox.com/contact-us If you're not seeing those options, you'll need to change your category/topic. Billing
    and Subscriptions and "I don't recognize a charge" usually work for me. However, keep in mind that as this was an enforcement issue, they may not be able to do anything. Typically if the enforcement team overturns a forced gamertag change, they just give you
    a free change within 30 days of their decision.

    I see someone else had the same problem as me named NegaRamy. I am confused. Does this mean I get my old gamertag back or not? Also if I do how do I reclaim it?

    Where do I get help from the support? The Virtual Agent does absolutely nothing to help me and I don’t know where to request help from an actual human being.
