Where is my FREE content for going gold.

Hi , I Clicked on the offer on my xbox one , 'go gold now and get Ryse son of Rome legendary edition FREE'. I'm now gold but cant find my free content. Please advise. Thanks

Please download the catalog for free from the Xbox Live Marketplace before playing for DOA 5

I dont think gold is required for this. It normally isnt for other free DLC unless a special promo is going on where it's free for only a week...than gold is normally required for that.

Why can't I play any games on Xbox Live?

gotta go gold, silver is free account, but going gold is the only way to enjoy multiplayer games and dlc content as well, here is a link for ya :

with most new games you get 48hrs free gold and sometimes xbox will run a all gold weekend for everyone, your silver and until gold no MP for you, sorry.

but gold is worth it for sure so much fun.

Lets try a simple power cycle of your console. Please hold down the power button on your console for 15 seconds and wait 60 seconds and power it back up. Let us know how that goes!

I believe it tells you that it can take up to 4 weeks to receive the game for going gold.

 

Thanks for replying but I really don't think resetting my console is going to help me with regards to my question. Also there was no indication that it would take 4 weeks to get the free game the offer promised me. Otherwise I wouldn't have bothered going
gold.

 

It does tell you in the small print that it can take up to 4 weeks so if you haven't got it by 4 weeks of going gold then post back.

 

Ok thanks. I've cancelled my gold subscription and will then decide when or if I buy again without being misled by a silly little 2inch square boxed advert in the future. Thanks anyway.

@Daft Badger: There is nothing in the ToU shown here at the bottom of the page Daft Badger that it may take 4 weeks to be able to download the game.

That's not the offer.There's an offer on the dash for silver members that if they start a gold subscription they will get Ryse:Son of Rome Legendary edition for free.

In the small print of that offer it states it can take up to four weeks to receive the game.

The link you've posted is for normal games with gold & nothing to do with that offer.

 

ok 3 days to go and 4 weeks is up. Still no sign of the free game I was promised. My gold subscription ends on the 6/12/2015. I'm glad you were able to confirm the offer Daft Badger because I was starting to think I was seeing things. So just to confirm
that if the free offer game does turn up. Will it be in a msg to my xbox one or my email address? thanks signing off for 3 days then will post back with news.

 

Well I did get my free game in the end yesterday. A little over the 4weeks but I am very pleased and my faith in Xbox live gold has been restored. Shame it takes so long but also I must remember to read small print in future. Thanks XB Live
