Where do you think this game ranks among COD and BF

You are the first person I've met who doesn't sing Lagoon's praises. I still haven't played that, and about 3 other maps.

 

Regarding the newer version of the games. COD:Ghost-Battlefield 4-Titanfall

I own all three on XBone and would rank them (1)BF4 (2) Titanfall (3)COD:Ghost

I put them in that order because in my opinion even with the rough start and many issues BF4 had; it is still the most addicting and rewarding game to play. With all of the guns, equipment, vehicles, and gamemodes it has so much to offer. I have logged over
105+ hours on multiplayer and am only through the first campaign mission, but my bias is that I play games more for their multiplayer/online capabilities over campaign/single player modes.(unless its a game like Skyrim or Fallout) I rank Titanfall second because
i just love the gameplay. Obviously I don't really care that there isn't a real campaign, as i said i play games with a huge focus on online play, so ding ding ding. I know many don't think its up to par because its not 1080 graphics or whatever, but when
your wallrunning in cloak to jump on a Titan you are not thinking about graphics. You're thinking...damn this is so epic. Other complaints I've heard is that there is not enough weapons. I think there are plenty of weapons and perks to keep the game balanced
and that's all i can ask for. If I want a huge arsenal I'll play Battlfield4. Even when COD first came out it didn't have a vast weapons cache. And finally the complaint that it might get boring. Honestly every game at some point gets boring, that's why you
get other games, for variety. But no other game allows for wallrunning, and mechs. And I've heard a lot of people say it's like COD with robots. To me it it plays more like Halo. Finally, COD:Ghost was huge disappointment which isn't a shocker because to me
the last 3 or 4 COD games where just all too similar with only a slight change in guns, maps, and perks. To me, after playing either BF4 or Titanfall...I just don't ever feel like playing COD or if I do I'm done after a couple of matches. It's just not as
funn as it use to be or its excitement factor has faded for me.

Once again I didn't really discuss single player/campaigns because that's not why I play these types of games.

I like this game as is and I find it is only about 10% like cod and nothing like the battlefield series. As a hard core cod fan during my 360 days I have warmed up to the new style of game play titanfall has and find it enjoyable. I haven't even played
the regular multiplayer and have been playing the story mode over and over again because I enjoy it since I get to level up and get unlocks while playing. Thats how leveling up should be. Cod always penalized you when playing story mode or only gives you
a small amount of xp and no unlocks while playing squad mode in ghosts.

I am over cod for now and plan on moving on to the next generation of games.

 

If titanfall sequels build on what they've started and expand each of the titans to a more class based specialty structure than I could see it passing BF for me. Im sooooo done with CoD it isn't even funny. Can't remember the last time I had fun with it.
Its been at least three titles. And the past two BF's just felt like "something to do". By buddies and I (all in our 30s) are actually having fun online again. TF easily has our votes going forward.

 

This game is better than cod. I really have not got into cod since cod 2. I played that one the most. Ever since mw, they been putting so much unnecessary stuff in it like some of the perks and killstreaks you get. Dual wielding shotguns, grenade launcher,
knife throwing. nukes, never seen that earn legitimately. Titan fall seems like just the right amount of traits. Could use some more weapon options. As long as there's shotgun/ grenade attachments. One game I really like for weapon option is ghost recon's
gun smith. Never played battle field.
