Where do you think this game ranks among COD and BF

the TF vs COD comparison is easy for me... TF > COD.

The BF comparison is a bit more complex. I think these games are just very different and I can appreciate those differences. BF seems like you're fighting in an actual war. TF feels more like a "skirmish" or arena match.

They are different enough that I can't say one is better than the other. Just different.

 

12 vs 64 players man...what do you think?

 

In a shooter it's all about balance and this is one of the best in that regard, COD hasn't been balanced since COD 4 Black Ops 1 was a step in the right direction in terms of balance but Ghost was god aweful in terms of balance, BF4 is way more balanced
than Ghost but there is still a massive gap between that and Titanfall. Titanfall is by far the best of the three but to each their own.

 

^^CoD4 and Juggy were terrible. Trip frags and the M16. Yeah, it was balanced if everyone used the same setup and weapon. Nothing with Stopping Power or Juggy is balanced. BO did it right by removing both of those perks, but the Famas and AK74 were a bit
better than anything else.

 

I think Battlefield has blown everybody else out of the water. Although I do like Titanfall it just doesnt compare to BF4. Call of Duty has fallen to the bottom of the charts IMO.

 

^^No games, and I repeat, NO games (especially big release titles) have had problems like BF3 and BF4. Tons and tons of problems of all kinds since release. I havent heard of almost ANY problems with games like TF and CoD, and definately nothing like the
tons of problems like BF4 has had. And I like BF4, just saying.

 

yeah...BF4 has/had/still having some issues, yet despite EA sucking and wrenching the works, and with all it's problems BF4 is still a way better game, which doesn't say much for TF.....had TF be released on the last gen it would have been no better than
Section 8 on the arcade

 

^^I was just making the point that the servers have been working fine and theres not many in game problems (not that I have seen threads about) and thats a different story from BF4. BF4 is a huge complicated game with tons of stuff going on, but still, they
should of had it "working" better at release, thats all.

Titanfall really doesn't compare to BF3 at all IMO. Battlefield has MUCH larger maps and a lot more players and leans a lot more toward realism. I would say this is closer to a comparison of Halo mixed with COD. Especially since Titanfall has dragons
and dinosaurs. I personally think its more along the lines of the fun I have in Halo 4. Especially since Halo 4 also has mechs aka the Mantis. Plus jet packs. However you have the controls very similar to COD. Overall this is WAY better than COD IMO
by a longshot. Closer to Halo 4.

Am I the only one sick of lifeless re-do's of COD and Battlefield? I love fps but I feel like I've played these same games with new box art every year. Titanfall is simply the best because they broke out of a stagnant mold.

 

^ The last COD I enjoyed was WAW. It was also the last COD I purchased. Truly loved that game especially the 4 player co-op campaign, death cards, gore and much more. Now I only rent the COD games. I haven't rented Ghosts yet but the last COD I enjoyed
was WAW.

Titanfall truly is in a league of its own. A unique experience for sure which is refreshing in this overwhelming world of FPS.

 

That's a pretty good rating Skill, but I would argue that I replay Titanfall a lot more than Call of Duty or Battlefield so for me that one looks like-

3. Call of Duty

 

It's all good! Just based on my personal preference and not fact.

 

Stoping power in COD 4 really didn't make that huge of a difference, but yea the M16 was OP as all getout, I never used juggy or three frag because i thought they were a waste of a good perk like bandolier or slight of hand, BO 1 had some unbalanced guns
too the, yea you run into more guys using the Famas or Galil than the M14 but it was about as balanced as COD has been battlefield 4 has guns like the CBJ-MS, P90, SAR 21, 416, AUG, SRR ect. BF4 maps were also pretty bad at least the death match versions were
Titanfalls maps are great, the only one i thing is kinda bad is Lagoon but other than that i'm happy with them
