Where do you get your information?

Do you prefer to get your information from written articles, or videos, and which do you consider the best sites (and if possible a why would be nice)?

(sorry a shameless bit of research I need help on, thanks in advance)

there is always online retailers or etailrrs

But keep in mind you have to buy from the same region as your account so preferably your actual region unless you dont live in an xbox live region

every year for the Christmas and near year sales on Xbox live I get myself a couple of Xbox gift cards. I always order these out of a online catalogue I am a member of so I don't have to pay it in one go, however this year they have stopped selling the cards.
So I am wondering if anyone else buys there cards from anywhere like a catalogue that let stock you pay up and if so if you could tell me where do you get yours?

 

I get most of mine from a news app called News360 you can tailor the feeds to suit, eg Console Game News. Pulls through multiple feeds from all the major sites plus some obscure ones.

 

Is that on iphone and android?

Wikipedia.

Wikipedia Google and Youtube. Google is good too because it has a very good search engine. Youtube is good because it has lots of members also owned by Google and it has like the largest library of videos out of any other site pretty much. Wikipedia also
offers some good and detailed and legit info too.

Quite agree about Google, Wikipedia etc but they are pretty much only any good if you know roughly what you are looking for. I find with the news app i find out loads of stuff I had no clue about that is either happening or upcoming. You cant beat Google
as a research tool though.

 

Ahhh, I don't think I have explained myself properly.

I am looking for article design, content, and page layout examples, and why you would prefer them over something else.

So while I appriciate you find the information using wiki, google, you tube etc, I was hoping when you looked through a searches search result there might be one (or a few) preferred news vender of preference which you would click first over the others because
of x.

 

I honestly get most of my info from Twitter.

 

^^ Haha thats where most of my info comes from as well. I prefer written articles to videos. I hardly ever watch a video but will read a 10 page article in a heartbeat.

 

Ah ok Davey, I like the app I use because it pushes the feeds through in tiles, but they are actually cubes that you can rotate by swiping to give links to other articles on the same subject, or to share through email, social media etc. The design works
great and is why i have stuck with the app over others.

 

For overall Xbox One info the best one stop shop is r/XboxOne. This is fact. The amount of users Reddit has ensures a vast amount of info is going to be posted every day. For more specific news on particular games you may need to look elsewhere, but it is
the best for general Xbox One news.

That said, I really hate the comments section of reddit. The majority of the people there focus on one-upping and childish arguments about nonsense.
