    Where do I make a formal complaint?


    I bought an Xbox One a year-two ago, and eventually it stopped being able to connect to the internet. Contacted support and they asked me to turn it on and off again. Eventually it stopped working all together. I called and asked if I could send it in and
    get it replaced. They refused because my warranty expired 1 month and 6 days before that. I bought a new Xbox One S a few months ago. It started showing similar issues, randomly disconnecting me from live, and blocking me from starting parties (And i've done
    nothing to warrant being blocked) I contacted support again, and they asked me to turn it off and on again. Worked for a couple days but the problem came back. I contacted them and the same thing, turn it off and on again. Not much difference. Now the xbox
    wont turn on, just the light on the front of it. I contacted support and they asked me if it was plugged in, and to try plugging it into other places. No luck. Then they asked me to turn it off an on again (AGAIN!). Does your support know what they are doing?
    Why is their only suggestion to turn it off and on again? Why cant you sell an xbox that works? I've been playing xbox since the OG. I'm a loyal fan. And Im very disappointed. And its not my network, i've tested both consoles on different networks, with different
    internet providers.

    Not just off and on but hold the power button down on the console.

    And what is your NAT result when you test your network?

    Also, I see you were online 13 hours ago as I write this post. Did you get it all figured out?

    No, and my NAT type was open.

    How do you make a formal complaint

    Just post a new thread in the same location explaining you are unhappy with the decision and you want to know how you can take it further.

    You'll either be told on the forum or by PM.

    If they don't get back to you then you can contact Microsoft directly. They're a public company and you'll find their details on the internet.

    If you were cheating and got caught then they probably won't have the time of day for you though.
