Where do I download my copy of Minecraft: Windows 10 Edition for my new pc?

Everytime I try to download through the microsoft store, it asks me to pay for it, though I did get it with my copy of Java Edition.

As someone who has Minecraft for both Xbox One and Windows (both Win 10 version and the Java version) I can answer this.

Poli5hesBubble: When the Windows 10 Edition (Windows Store Version) of the Minecraft entered public Beta in 2015/2016, owners of the pre-existing Java version were given a key to download and own the Windows 10 Edition (Windows Store Version) for free, as
they already owned it for PC (in Java form). However, this does NOT work in reverse; if you bought the Windows 10 Edition (Windows Store Version), you will NOT be given a free copy of the Java version.

KyleCBlanchard: Similar to the answer for Poli5hedBubble, if you own the Java version from Minecraft.net, you should be able to go to your Mojang account, log in and see a key that, once entered into the Windows Store or at redeem.microsoft.com, will allow
you download the free copy of Minecraft: Windows 10 Edition for free.

Where do I find the save files in Windows 10 version? I found a folder named saves and it has 2 worlds in it but both are from Minecraft for pc version not windows 10 version... Yes I have both on my pc... Also, if I uninstall the Windows 10 version can
I download it again? I got the windows 10 version for free when I bought Minecraft for pc. The mojang website next to Windows 10 version says redeemed... How would I go about redownloading when it was a free download to begin with?

You will be able to install it through Microsoft Store or Xbox App.

First, check if the transaction for the game is successful. Kindly sign in to https://account.microsoft.com/billing/orders and once you were able to see the status as "completed", simply sign out both on Microsoft Store App then Xbox App, restart your PC before signing back in.
