Where did the Add-Ons go?!?!

For years, I have been mad that there is no effective way to see what new add-ons are available for Xbox One games online. I'd always have to wait until I got to the console itself, go to the Store, Browse Games, click on the Add-Ons button and scroll
to New Add-Ons.

Then today, I logged into the Store, and everything had changed. I don't know if this is part of the preview program or just a straight update, but there is no longer an Add-On button. Further, there doesn't seem to be any section of the labyrinthine layout
that offers any view of Add-Ons at all.

When I've brought this up in the past (including twice just now through a pleasant-ish but useless chat session), I'd always get the response that I could just go to the game I'm looking for the DLC for and use the menu to find the DLC. Unfortunately, this
would mean that to find new DLC for every game I own, I'd have to spend fruitless hours clicking through on every single game to see if anything had randomly popped up. How is that a solution AT ALL?!

I don't actively seek out new DLC for every game. That's what the Add-On section is for.

Firstly, I suggest you figure out if it's the preview program update that has caused the change, if it is, you can simply un-enroll from the preview program and you get the version of the store that is available to everyone. If it is an update that has
been pushed out to everyone, then there isn't anything you can do, other than to make a suggestion.

Are you seriously kidding me with this response?!

You responded in the EXACT way I just described as being entirely not helpful.

I am not trying to suggest a new method. I am trying to understand what happened to the old method that was working perfectly fine that has been taken away.

I was told to come to THIS forum by the Microsoft Specialist who tried to help me out just previous to this. He sent me a direct link.

There is no Store option available and here. What other possible thread here should I be using. How is a reddit thread going to help get this resolved?!

Thanks for coming to the forums. If you view the game on the Microsoft store you can see the add-ons. Take for example this

link for destiny 2. As for the add on tab, things change time to time some good and some bad. You can submit an idea for better way to see DLC for games by going

here to reddit forum. The title of the thread is Xbox requests.

Thank you. I still don't quite understand how a reddit post is going to have an impact, though. Why is there no official channel for this? There is no way to contact anyone at Xbox in a functional way, it seems, and it feels like I'm screaming into
an empty room when there's an issue of any kind.

Hi Baffled,

Thanks for replying about the issue with the add on missing. We recommend logging on the
account website for each profile and check the

order history. Then you will see which one owns it. Then on the console, go to my games and apps>highlight sim4>hit the start or menu button>go to manage game>ready to install>the add on should be there. Also keep in mind there is a service alert right
now also. You can check the status
here. If still having issues you can contact support.

When you go to Contact Us,follow these steps to request a call from support:

Step 1 ----select Xbox One
Step 2 ----select see other options then subscription changes
Step 3-----select show contact options

Step 4 ----select request call from support

Once they call explain the issue and they will be able to help you. Note that these options regularly change so just keep selecting something that gives request a call from support as a contact option.
