    Where can I report the annoying bugs that are in the public builds of the dashboard?


    I don't want to opt into even more buggy experiences, but the public one is riddled with bugs as well.

    Where do I report those bugs? Here, or somewhere else?

    xbox guide menu needs an option to report a bug with games and apps

    The insider xbox dashboard builds come with the feedback app, which is used to report bugs. You access it by holding the xbox button on your controller and going to the right, to Feedback, and then report your issue by category and it will submit a clip
    of video from the last 30 seconds, any logs that may be relevant and a screenshot if you want to. And also, you can add a comment. This gets sent directly to the developer.

    I do not believe that the regular dashboard build that's public has the feedback feature.

    Are you using the public build of the dashboard or are you enrolled for system updates via the Xbox Insider Hub app? If you are enrolled as an Insider then you may want to report as a possible bug.

    If you are using the standard dashboard build have you tried closing apps and games not in use and seeing if that makes
    a difference.

    post this everywhere you can, i've been reporting this via the beta dashboard since the very first beta, now its in the public build. Streaming video on the xbox one is broken. The only app that appears to be okay is netflix

    Fill out a detailed report, giving make and model of headset you use and send it to the development team.

    I am in Alpha Skip ahead and sometimes get these issues. You could try backing out of the Insider program, to a public build and seeing if things work.

    Remember Alpha and Alpha Skip Ahead are the cutting edge OS builds and can be full of bugs.

    I have been following this issue across multiple threads and there increasingly appears to be a controller headset incompatibility introduced by a Dashboard update.

    I don't recall seeing an answer from you as to whether you reported your headset issue as a member of the Xbox Insider Dashboard Program. If you didn't file a report via the Xbox Insider app reporting function, then you have possibly excluded valuable troubleshooting
    information from the Dashboard team and possibly contributed to the problem of allowing the incompatible build to be released to the general public.

    I'm sorry your gaming experience has been affected by this issue however please do your part and report encountered issues with Dashboard Preview builds via the proper reporting mechanism so the issue can be fixed for both yourself and all other affected
    Xbox One users.
