Where can I buy new OFFICIAL analog sticks for the Xbox One wireless controller?

You can buy new analogue sticks, i have ordered one and as soon as it arrives i will post about my progress, here is the link for the stick if any one fancies joining in

Buy a new controller or get thumb grips which sit overtop the thumb sticks

You can always ship it to xbox but not really worth it

A) Warranty has run out a long time ago and B) I bought the damn thing and I can open it up and "repair" it as much as I want. Even as early as the N64 controller you could order the whole stick (including the electronics) for self repair directly through
Nintendo.

It's just stupid that they don't offer the one thing for sale which has the most wear. It's nothing more than a crappy little piece of plastic, which they produce millions of anyways. Why don't they just sell them? Now I have to buy crappy knock-offs of
the most important part of the controller, which you touch non-stop in every game, that just don't feel as good as the original.

They don't carry thumb-grips/analog sticks in the Microsoft Store online. Anything related to controllers would be found here: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/store/collections/xboxcontrollers

Physical Microsoft Stores may carry third party replacements because that's kind of what they do, most accessories for controllers outside of the controllers themselves are licensed out in order to minimize production costs while still managing to cut a
profit. That's how most companies work, they make a product and they license out usage for it.

Any store that carries gaming electronics should have thumb/analog stick replacements available... however, another user is right. The best place to look would be local electronic hobby stores as opposed to chain stores. You normally get friendly staff and
better deals.

Regrettably, there is no way to order specific parts for Xbox One controllers via Microsoft. My best advice, would be to visit a 'Mom and Pop' video game store that may be local to you, and they may be able to refurbish your controller for a cost.

As time goes on, I hope that Microsoft adopt the Elite controller route, where you can interchange sticks and buy replacements, as part of an exchange program, or something. It's time to dump the throwaway society of the 2010s and think greener when it comes
to technology.
