Where can I buy a replacement blue ray drive for my xbox 1

I'm sorry but there are no replacement drives and self repairs on your console are not allowed. If you have an original console then I'm afraid those are no longer taken in for service.

so the games are not playing and they are blue ray so this leads me to think that the blue ray diode is faulty as you CAN still play DVD's which uses a red diode.

red laser for dvd and cd blue for blue-ray, also dont replace the drive yourself as they are most likely locked to each mainboard.

The issue has something to do with the blue ray drive, possibly the laser assembly. Nothing to do with the quality of the disks. The sounds the op describes is a complete indicator that it is the blue ray drive is the problem. Do what the first gentleman
said, call support and get it repaired or your console replaced.

I am a extremely loyal day 1 original xbox owner, day 1 xbox 360, and day 1 xbox one owner which by the way the blue ray drive doesn't work anymore so I buy all my games digitally. This is unacceptable I really hope we get some sort of freebie for the
