When you plug in your headset, you will see settings appear in the Xbox Guide menu.

Press the Guide button, go down to the settings tab, and you should see the available options for your connected headset.

    Audio help needed

There should be a setting in the xbox 360 settings where you can change the settings from headset/tv

Lots of settings in that post lol

    XBOX One user settings

    Hello.

    Your question about the headset.
If you have an XBOX headset or if you have a compatible Xbox Headset, the compatibility label is always on the product packaging.

So such devices can be set up in the console after pressing the XBOX button on the gamepad, in the gear panel there is the AUDIO tab, where you will find a quick Headset setup when you have it connected.

Otherwise, if the Headset is not compatible with the XBOX console, in most cases this setting is missing. Also, the headset may not work properly.

Xbox one headset no ingame sound, only "xbox-sound"

Since you checked what is the headset audio option set to?

    What headset do you have?

You have no sound at all on the headset or only the sounds of you moving thru the menu?

I have had instances (not recently) where I had to change my audio option after re-connecting my headset.

You may want to see what the audio is without the headset attached, then connect it and compare the settings do the change to pickup the headset connection.

    Xbox audio not working

    Hi Max,

Thanks for reaching out to the forums. We understand having audio issues. Have you happened to maybe change the setting where you can hear through headset. Go to audio chat headset mixer set to the middle.

    Thanks,

    Brad
